CAUTION is a one-man Heavy Metal band from Denmark. After his Speed Metal band ENGRAVER disbanded, Chris Rostoff is now pursuing his own brand of pure Heavy Metal. He struggled to find many members other than bassist Mads Mågge, so Chris instead decided to play the rest of the instruments himself. The result is this 2 song demo that gives just a taste of what to expect from the vocalist.

  

"I Need You" is a pure Heavy Metal track. The pacing is speedy, the vocals are solid with some interesting high notes. Chris did well playing most of the instruments too! There's a great speedy solo and the pacing was energetic and fun. "Sinner and Winner" is the other track on this Demo. It channels that 80s, riding in on a motorcycle with a trail of flames following feel. There was some bite in the vocals and the guitar work had plenty of that studded leather rebel attitude you want from a Heavy Metal song.

 

Overall, this is a promising 2 track demo. There are plenty of homages to the Heavy Metal greats like KING DIAMOND and JUDAS PRIEST, but there's still differentiation that it's not another cover band. Here's to hoping Chris can find a consistent line-up because this could be the start of something really badass.
