Beloved Enemy - Enemy Mine album cover

What the fuck is that? Someone keeps providing me with promos full of men with gay make up and strange haircuts. Unfortunately, I still haven't found out who is behind all this but I will. Anyway, I will have to bare this album and I will also have to write a review about it. It will be a tough one, but I have to do it. I press the play button and here we go...

ENEMY MINE is a Goth/Industrial band from Germany that seems to be too famous and hasn't bothered to write some info about them in their Myspace page. The info that is written on an A4 paper in the album is in German and I really didn't bother searching further for them. The only thing I know is that they are going to play at the Battle Of Metal Festival along with bands like BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, SATYRICON, IN EXTREMO, PARADISE LOST, THE HAUNTED, KATAKLYSM and many more. I just wonder who picked them to play and why...

Regarding this band's music now, they have this whiny Goth style with the deep and low voice that irritates me, as well the classic RAMMSTEIN Industrial influences. Now what do you expect me to say? The production is not bad, but I have definitely heard a better drum sound than this one in my life! The music is not my style, but people that like DANSE MACABRE, THE 69 EYES and stuff like that may be attracted by their boring crap. I forgot to mention that while looking at their Myspace page, I saw the influences thingie and the bands they mention. Who told you that BLACK SABBATH, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, MOTORHEAD and Elvis asked you to write them there? I am damn sure that if Lemmy sees that and listens to their music he'll kick some sorry asses! Anyway, I don't think I will have to comment on the lyrics. Songs like Fuck Me Back To Life reveal the band's true dreams that lead to the porn industry and not to the already torn by shitty releases and bands music industry.

Still reading this review? You must really be sick! What do you expect me to tell you? No, I am not gonna tell you buy or don't buy this album. I am just going to tell you that if your ex - with whom you broke up because he/she cheated on you - has his/her birthday, this will be a really good gift.
