Quarter Life Crisis

One of the funny things of having your address posted on a website related to music is the complete diversity in the packages you receive, from unholy ritualistic Black Metal to Pop Rock. In case you haven't checked the front cover of this one, Arden is not that much into unholy ritualistic Black Metal. Yeah, she's mostly stuck in the Pop Rock side of music. Good for her!
Arden Kaywin, according to her biography, has already won several awards (such as Vocalist of The Year at the 2005 Los Angeles Music Awards amongst others). Her music brought in mind ladies like Alanis Morissette and other girlie stuff I don't happen to know since I only really listen to Heavy Metal music. Ok, truth is that I am not really capable of reviewing this one. Still, I can't ignore the fact that it was an easy listening experience (I heard the album couple times in a row without realizing how time passed by). I also have to say that Arden has indeed a great warm and fragile voice - nothing extraordinary but so damn down to earth that forces you to follow her in each song.
So I guess if you are into this kind of music then you should probably check her out. I don't guarantee you will find the excitement offered by already known musicians of the genre but it is definitely worthy of your time.
