Nite Of The Tiger was originally performed by the punk band 'Suicide Syndicate' and written by their singer Mattias Bengtson. The song is about the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, also known as the Tamil Tigers which was a separatist militant organization that was fighting to create an independent Tamil state in the north and east of Sri Lanka between 1983 and 2009.
