Metal on Metal Records has announced that the 2nd full-length of the Swedish traditional doom metal band Stonegriff "Come Taste the Blood" will be out on April 24th. Commented the label: "Like on their 2013 debut "Prologus Magicus", the band keeps on following in the genre's forefathers' footsteps, delivering pure, old school and quite straightforward doom metal in the vein of Black Sabbath, Krux, Candlemass, Pentagram, Iron Man, Saint Vitus, Spiritus Mortis, and the like. The vocals are particularly noteworthy here, ranging from raspy to clean and somberly bewitching mid-range, to high pitched wails and screams."
The new album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered at Sonic Train Studios by Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND).

A short promo clip for "Come Taste the Blood" album can be watched on YouTube. The label has prepared also a video clip for the title song, using scenes from "The City of the Dead" (aka "Horror Hotel") movie from 1960 (starring Christopher Lee). Three songs, "Come Taste the Blood", "Salgia" and "Valkyrian Quest", are available for streaming from the band's page.
