Formed byJason Richardson(Drums),Daniel Shroyer(Bass & Vocals) andClem Adams(Guitar & Vocals), Savagist's sound is almost impossible to pigeonhole. In our opinion, the following quote from Maximum Rocknroll hits thenail right on the head:"Metal as fuck. Stripped down and slower crusty death metal with agro lyrics about the bleak relationship between humans and nature. Savagist taps a primal cord then pounds on it." Savagist would fit perfectly on a playlist featuring earlyMastodon,BaronessandNeurosis.

After releasing a 7inch in 2010, three cassettes in 2011 and an EP in 2012, it's now time for Savagist's followers to get the full treatment. Their first full length album "Invisible Birth of Death" is set to be released in early 2016 through Deathbound Records.

The band has been making the rounds for a while and has shared the stage with acts such as Kylesa, Weedeater, Black Tusk and High On Fire just to name a few. Savagist will tour extensively in 2016 and are ready to take their music to the next level.
