When summarizing the past few years, the Swedes of SABATON can look back on a triumphal march: sold out shows, fantastic albums chock-full of epic power metal, thrilled fans worldwide! On May 25th, another glorious chapter will be added to their success story: "Carolus Rex" is the seventh SABATON studio album and boasts plenty of future metal anthems plus a sophisticated lyrical concept about the Swedish king Carl XII.
You can be assured that energetic front man Joakim Brodén and his kinsmen will unleash another gigantic live experience in a club near you, because they'll embark on an extensive headliner run in September! SABATON will be joined by Swiss act ELUVEITIE who can rightfully be called the leaders of the "New Wave Of Folk Metal"! Their latest opus magnum "Helvetios" (2012) saw them walk on new paths in the folk/pagan metal sector and lets them shine as magnificent songwriters.
This varied package will be rounded off by Hungary 's WISDOM who serve us hymnic and melodic power metal.
SABATON have been nominated for several Metal Hammer (GER) awards: Best international band / best live band / metal-anthem
