The numbers already look impressive: 91 bands announced, 13 cities in 7 states & territories and it's all 1 show - 1 single show under 1 banner in 1 night all over Australia.

This is the first time in Australian metal history that promoters, venues and bands get together for METAL UNITED DOWN UNDER. Capital, medium and smaller cities host this huge event, some as all day festivals, some as evening only shows. Underground metal bands from all over the country play in their city or travel to another METAL UNITED DOWN UNDER show as part of their tour. Metal United Down Under connects all of them.

Australian label Battlegod Productions and media partners Trendkill and Metal Temple, a national online magazine and international website respectively, support the project. The idea and execution of METAL UNITED DOWN UNDER comes from the Australian metal network Metal-Roos.
