ELUVEITIE: Brazilian Tour Dates Announced

Swiss melodic-folk-death-metallers ELUVEITIE will embark on a tour of Brazil in late January. Confirmed dates are as follows:
Jan. 27 - Beco - Porto Alegre, Brazil
Jan. 28 - Music Hall BH - Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Jan. 29 - Estudio Emme - São Paulo, Brazil
Jan. 30 - John Bull Music Hall - Curitiba, Brazil
"Everything Remains (As It Never Was)", the latest album from ELUVEITIE, sold around 1,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 23 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"Everything Remains (As It Never Was)" registered the following first-week European chart positions:
Switzerland: #8
Germany: #19
Austria: #22
"Everything Remains (As It Never Was)" was released on February 19 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was mixed at Nott-In Pill studios in Wales with Colin Richardson (SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, KREATOR, BEHEMOTH, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE) and Martyn "Ginge" Ford.
ELUVEITIE in 2008 announced the addition of Paede Kistler (bagpipes, whistles, acoustic guitars) and Kay Brem (bass) to the group's ranks.
ELUVEITIE will embark on a North American headlining tour in February 2011. Support on the trek will come from 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, HOLY GRAIL and SYSTEM DIVIDE.
