CHRON GEN head back to the USA next week for a coast to coast tour taking in fourteen dates. Prior to this they play two shows this weekend. The first at The Underworld in London with Chelsea and Department S at Gene October's birthday bash on Saturday June 10, 2017 followed by a headline appearance the day after at Rock In The Park in Stevenage which takes place at King George V Playing Fields between 11.30am - 6pm.

Glynn Barber comments:

"We are really pleased to be touring the States again. We love it out there and this time we get to play the East Coast which is a first for us. We've had a lot of media interest about our return - the shows are all set to be great. We will be rocking hard and based on our previous experiences, I'm looking forward to playing to excited and enthusiastic audiences who I'm sure will be right there with us again"

Chron Gen were never typical of the bands they shared stages with in the early 80's ' their sound was always different ' more melodic, powerful and considered, although it would be fair to say that the promise for much more was never realised; expectations never met . . . . . until now.

Their latest album, "This is the Age" is well titled ' It is Chron Gen's coming of age. The contemporary production combines a diverse collection of thought provoking lyrics and classic song structures to create an audio experience that matches the energy of their live performances.

This album isn't reserved for the punk old guard. Far from it ' it is 21st century rock that will appeal to music fans of all generations and genres. It is fresh, different and exciting. Every song deserves it's place on the album, although there are many stand out numbers, such as Maybe Baby, Jump and Love this City.
