Ken Hensley: To perform live in Israel for the first time this coming July
April 2, 2015
Following the latest performance of URIAH HEEP in Israel, Progstage Productions continued on with the nostalgia of the Progressive Rock vibe while bringing over the ex-keyboardist of URIAH HEEP, Ken Hensley, and his band, for a single show at the Reading Club, Tel Aviv this coming July.
Progstage commented just now: "We are thrilled and excited to announce the coming of the Rock legend, Ken Hensley, for a first time ever show in Israel.
Hensley has been known as one of the greatest Hammond keyboardists in the Rock genre. He has been also widely known as the original Keyboardist of the British URIAH HEEP and was the one who wrote, and sang, some of the band's major hits like: "Lady In Black", "Look At Yourself" and "July Morning" just to name a few.
Hensley, which released ten profound studio albums as a solo artist, will be arriving to Israel with his band for the first time and will be performing mainly major classics of URIAH HEEP, songs which he sang in the early 70's.
We deem this event as historical on all counts in Progressive Rock in Israel and we are also pleased to be the ones that produce this event by making it happen after several attempts" said Progstage.
Tickets for the show, which will be taking place in 25.7.2015 at the Reading Club, Tel Aviv, shall be sold for a reduced price of 229 NIS only at the Rockstage website starting today till 12.4.2015. After 12.4.2015, the price of the tickets will rise to 259 NIS.
