Sanctrum - From Ashes To Infinity - DEMO album cover

Death and roll! Hell yeah, this one is a killer promo CD from Sanctrum that really woke the satanic side of me, almost made me run naked around the streets of Athens searching for a goat to sacrifice and drink its blood, masturbating under a full moon while virgins spit upon inverted crosses and... what am I saying? Sorry, I guess it has something to do with me seeing the naked body of our Chief Editor (dude, what's up with those hemorrhoids?) and that's definitely not a pretty sight.
This team seems quite productive since they have released three demo CDs so far (the two previous are Blood On Your Hands in 2003 and Sanctrum in 2004). Unfortunately I haven't heard their previous works so I can't really make any comparisons to the new CD. In From Ashes To Infinity the band delivers a quite explosive piece of work with very fast and furious songs that still manage never to lose their Rock 'n' Roll identity. This ultra groovy package of songs comes with a solid production that can easily be compared to productions of full-length runners.
Yes, this is probably nothing really new but the band's balls really make the difference in the final line. And it is always a nice thing to listen to music performed with passion and attitude. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this Demo. I really look forward to listen to a full-length release from these guys.
