ALLISON WEISS: Launches New "Tour Shop" In Advance of U.S. Tour with Max Bemis and European Dates with Matt Pryor
January 12, 2014
Allison Weiss has launched a new "Tour Shop" around her upcoming US tour with Max Bemis and European tour with Matt Pryor.
As Weiss explains, "For a small band, tour is necessary, tour is life, and tour is expensive. In 2011, I started what would later become Tour Shop with the hope of making a little extra gas money, but it became more than that. I wanted to offer something special to those who cared enough to keep me going. Each Tour Shop support level includes all previous levels, and everything is packed and shipped by yours truly. Everything is personal, everything is unique. This year I'll be collecting postcards, taking photos, hunting down souvenirs, and curating a poster series. Help put a little gas in my tank and you can be a part of it all.

The Tour Shop has been revamped for this year. Weiss says, "The concept is that each tour I go on throughout 2014 (and hopefully forevz) is gonna have a cool 12x18 screen printed poster to go with it, super limited. This run will be 40 posters total, only 35 of which will be available for sale. Fans can help support my touring efforts by purchasing one of 4 packages, which are:
$5 - a postcard from the road
$10 - a photograph from the road taken by me with my Fuji Instax Mini
$25 - the silk screened poster, signed and numbered (limited to 25)
$40 - a handpicked personal souvenir from the road (limited to 10)
Each level up gets you the stuff in the lower levels too.
This month's poster is designed by Daniel Fishel, who I met through Soupy from The Wonder Years. Fishel's work has appeared in McSweeney's, New York Times, Nylon, NPR's yearly calendar, and so many more."
Weiss' new acoustic album The Sideways Sessions is also out now via No Sleep Records and is available at:
