Does every genre in music has its Gods and its fools? I can't speak about fools but I am absolutely convinced that at least Heavy Metal always did have, still has and will always have Rob Halford, one of the very few people on this planet who fully, rightfully deserve to be called that, the magnum title of titles in Metal! Whether you're an amateur reporter, just a fan or a specialist in doing interviews, it doesn't matter. The shock of getting to talk to one of Metal's leaders, a person who stood there at the dawn of time before the wave came slamming down on our sorry asses, is irreversible.r>r>In this interview, simply put, you'll get to read about WHY Rob left JUDAS PRIEST, what happened in the meantime (FIGHT, TWO, HALFORD), what led to the grand return and what the future holds for all of us. After talking for almost an hour on the phone, I realized I simply wish more people were as decent, honest, polite and humorous as Halford, especially in the Music world. Live and learn! And the Metal God sure has tales to share with all of us. Behold!... I want us to be a working man's band!!!r>r>Excerpt #2: I live in this amazing little village in the Wicklow Mountains. There are two pubs and that's it! Every six weeks or so we have a Rock night and everyone is a Rock musician. The people in the bands are all the guys I grew up with, their wives and girlfriends, cousins, brother and sisters . There is a girl band that compromises of a friend's wife , my fiancé and my friend's sister. There is a band of 5 brothers, they all have long hair and range in age from 16 to 32 . It's crazy. These 5 guys work as stone masons in the local quarry and it's bizarre, you wouldn't find it anywhere else in the world. Its all cover versions except for us. It's a great get together to play and enjoy Rock music and drink lots of beer. Rock music is what keeps the soul alive!!r>r>Do you need more to start reading this interesting review by this amazing Irish band? Bat, how jealous I am, you will never truly know...

Former Anathema and The Blood Divine frontman Darren White is greatly revered for his work on genre-defining gothic-metal albums such as Serenades (1993, Peaceville Records) and Mystica (1997, Peaceville Records), but when The Blood Divine split up eight years ago, just as they were realising their enormous potential, little was heard from him again. Many rightfully viewed it as a sad loss for the scene, especially with the genre's subsequent explosion in popularity. However, Darren has returned in style, with a stunning new project, complete with a fantastic demo in tow. I recently caught up with him to discuss his past achievements, the present and his hopes for the future.
