Terrordome – Plagued With Violence
September 8, 2025
TERRORDOME deliver Thrash Metal at high quality. “Plagued With Violence” is utter madness, fast as hell, aggressive, and intense

Demiurgon - Miasmatic Deathless Chamber
September 5, 2025
And even though the music on “Miasmatic Deathless Chamber” is so encroaching and effective in heaviness and intensity, you never get the feeling that DEMIURGON is overdoing it, is playing above or out of their league. You always have the sensation that they are well within their comfort zone.

Kamra – Undending Confluence
September 4, 2025
Overall, this was a devastatingly devious album that took full advantage of all the things that Black Metal can offer. At its core, it was evil, but unlike the void, it was fully alive. The harrowing feeling it gave me may have turned my hair white.

KHNVN - Cosmocrator
September 4, 2025
And using influences from the past, this act created a great Death Metal release.
review
Fermento - Acts of Blood
September 4, 2025
These veterans are still worthy of being heard, and this excellent release is a Death/Black Metal 'muts have' item.

The Death Metal Zombies are celebrating their birthday, but the gift is yours in this release!!!!

Animal Rage - Last Standing Man
September 3, 2025
Let me start by saying that ANIMAL RAGE have a lot of courage in how they portray their music. For example, how many bands would be able to put a very much folklore song like “Animals In The Sky” on a record. It might not be Metal, but to my ears it is beautiful.

Degrave – Metalithic
September 3, 2025
I like what I am hearing, even though I had to take my time to get used to how the voices are used on “Metalithic”. I feel that DEGRAVE is a good addition to what is already a massive Thrash Metal community.

Heartkiller - Üdv A Világomban
September 3, 2025
I have to conclude that musically HEARTKILLER have their ducks in a row. And even though you aren’t able to understand one word that is being sung, this does sound good. You don’t have to worry about bad pronunciation or dictation. Instead, you just get to enjoy the atmosphere and character that the voices used and instruments played are expelling through your speakers.
review
Sír – Unreachable Mountain
September 3, 2025
Overall, this wasn’t a bad album per se, it just never really got off the ground. Doom can be quite exciting, if done carefully. This album was just middle of the road for me.

Dwelling Below – Wearisome Guardians
September 2, 2025
Overall, this was a dreadfully dissonant and hopeless affair, and what it lacked in diversity, it made up for in torture. By the end, you can feel you soul twisted into something that barely looks human. If you dare, take the plunge, but be warned…you will emerge something that you are not.
review
Temtris – Queen Of Crows
September 2, 2025
“Queen Of Crows” offers powerful guitar riffs, great lead guitar solos, a good mixture between heaviness and melodic parts as well as between traditional and modern Heavy Metal elements
review
Alterium – Stormrage
September 2, 2025
“Stormrage” delivers traditional Power Metal elements combined with modern orchestral arrangements
review
Wucan - Axioms
September 2, 2025
WUCAN takes some twists and turns with “Axioms” that might throw some listeners off, but the band stays true to their vision and refuses to stand still.
review
Jord – Emellan Träden
September 2, 2025
With “Emellan Träden,” JORD maintains the momentum and trajectory they established with their 2023 “Tundra.” This might be their best to date.
review
Slomatics - Atomicult
September 2, 2025
You gotta love a band whose name exactly describes what they sound like. “Atomicult” is another sledgehammer to the solar plexus from the heaviest band in Belfast.
review
Perishing – Malicious Acropolis Unveiled
September 1, 2025
This wasn’t a bad album by any stretch of the imagination, it just failed to launch from the pad it was grounded on. It relied too much on past formulas and didn’t really offer anything new to the genre. I would encourage the band to take more chances next time.

Frightmare – Snake Island
August 29, 2025
Singer Brian Miller is also active in the band BURNT OFFERINGS, so if the name rings a bell that would make sense. He also is the only original member in the band. The rest came along on 2020. Well, this FRIGHTMARE album “Snake Island” is more of a compilation that houses the most current releases that the band brought into the world.
review
Medieval Demon – All Powers of Darkness
August 28, 2025
Overall, this frightening album was evil incarnate, if ever there were such a thing. The band uses various backing elements together with guitars and vocals to create a massive, twisted beast that used to live in the shadows, but has now stepped into the light. It is so hideous, one gaze into its foul eyes will reduce you to ash.

August Life – Passage Of Time
August 28, 2025
AUGUST LIFE is able to incorporate sounds like no other, and have the ability to sound as impressive when they tone it down as well as when they go for broke.
review
Warmen - Band Of Brothers
August 28, 2025
I don’t think that before this one WARMEN ever came this close to the original sound of CHILDREN OF BODOM as they have succeeded in doing now.
review
Temptress - Catch the Endless Dawn
August 27, 2025
A great Old School Metal release from this Italian trio, but a better production is needed on the next time.

Mörtual - Altar of Brutality
August 27, 2025

Ritual Mass – Cascading Misery
August 27, 2025
Although the album was mostly within the Death Metal genre for me, there were some Black Metal elements present as well. I found the album to be exactly as advertised…a slow march towards death, and the filthy production contributed to this feeling.

Pilgrimage - From Amber To Sun
August 26, 2025
On “From Amber To Sun” the band has just over 48 minutes, divided over eight songs, to make you take notice. And musically the band have it all thought out. The songs are all on a proper level, have just the right elements to be called Doom Metal, but also offer enough variety to prevent you from feeling that you are constantly listening to the same song over and over.

Mob Rules – Rise of the Ruler
August 26, 2025
MOB RULES has been devastating the eardrums of true heavy metal fans for over three decades. With Rise of the Ruler they show zero intention of stopping anytime soon.

Lucynine – Melena
August 25, 2025
If you aren’t aware, the genre boundaries for Black Metal are very wide these days. Each song on “Melena” feels like a journey into the unknown, unpredictable and unnerving, yet always purposeful. Dissonant chords stab through moments of haunting calm, blast beats erupt like storms, and subtle progressive flourishes twist the path further, ensuring the listener never feels safe. It’s rare to hear a Black Metal album this frightening that also demonstrates such compositional control. The band proves they are not just conjurers of atmosphere, but master songwriters who can bend structure and complexity to their will without sacrificing raw intensity.
review
Ravager – From Us With Hate
August 25, 2025
“From Us With Hate” has all ingredients of a great old school Thrash album: pace, aggression, flesh-ripping guitar riffs, and great solos. The album is pure Thrash Metal mayhem at its best

Crime – Cold Air
August 24, 2025
CRIME isn’t hitting the dizzying heights of immortality, but they are certainly capable of playing good songs, recorded in just the right way.
