Forbidden Morals
Void
Musically there is one thing for sure; if you like it straight forward without any side-tracking you should skip “Forbidden Morals” as it is like an ADHD patient that has consumed too much caffeine.
Force From the Grave
Verdalack
The riffs, breaks and tempo changes are available in abundance with VERDALACK. And the tempo usually is quite high, to the fact that I was almost considering to call this music High Speed Metal.
Dark Believer
Martyr
After their very impressive 2022 album “Planet Metalhead” they have more inspiration and now are giving us “Dark Believer”, their sixth studio album in total. And if you have heard or do own any of their former albums, I can put your mind at ease, as MARTYR have taken off where they left it all last time
Solastalgia
Heretoir
This album looms, building its monolithic soundscapes with patience, tension, and purpose. It’s a towering testament to the genre, reminds us that heaviness isn’t just about distortion or speed…it’s about atmosphere, intent, and emotional gravity. For those willing to surrender to its slow, deliberate pull, the reward is profound…a visceral, cathartic experience that leaves you feeling drained and full at once. The album proves that post-metal is an emotional process, carved in distortion and silence, weight and restraint.
A Solitary Vigil
Phobetor
“A Solitary Vigil” dives deep into the waters of traditional Death Metal with blackened Death Metal twists built upon a grim and sometimes melancholic melodic framework
Ice And Death
Reinforcer
“Ice And Death” is a traditional Heavy Metal, album and it offers solid guitar riffs, catchy and at times dark melodies, and excellent lead guitar contributions and solos
Charming The Decomposed
Retching
Retching have done more then just Charmed The Decomposed with this debut.
Moon: Precursor
Hellir
This isn’t your dad’s brand of Black Metal. It’s fresh, modern, and cuts against the grain. The Djenty riff accents bring a level of weight to the album that just doesn’t exist in most Black Metal circles, and if this is just a precursor, I can’t wait to hear what is next.
Dealers Of Doom
Accvsed
Somehow German Metalcore bands have the real ability to sound so angry that you feel that they are in danger of coughing out their intestines in the process. This is certainly the case with ACCVSED from Wiesbaden, who have deemed it time to try and through us off our normal behaviour and disturb the peace and quiet with their debut album “Dealers Of Doom”.
Dreamlike Tales
Divni San
What’s in a name. I just can’t envision what DIVNI SAN should mean. If you look it up on your AI, it will tell you that it comes from the Slavic languages and means something like Marvelous Dream. What I can tell you is that it is a Heavy Metal band from Brussels, Belgium and was founded in 2021 by ex-members of MIDRANGE.
A Beginning
Dreams Of Gray
DREAMS OF GRAY is actually a one-man-band, and i have to say that if one man is capable of making this level of music, i would like to the man collaborate with like-minded people. Who knows what might come out next.
From the Grave
Iron Spell
The songs on “From the Grave” themselves are all very pleasant, have that ability get you tapping your foot, nodding your head, but also have the diversity and differences plus the breaks that make them all sound just that different from the other ones, while maintain the cohesion in sound that will make you realise that yes, you still are listening to the same IRON SPELL throughout the whole album.
Me And All My Demons
Jawfane
What began as a group of friends secretly writing together has evolved into an immersive musical force that defies easy categorization. Though rooted in metal-core and hardcore sensibilities, the band refuses to be pigeonhole into a single genre.
Actuality
Inoculation
INOCULATION formed in 2011 (Way before the recent Inoculations) in Cleveland, Ohio, emerging from guitarist/vocalist […]
The Cycles of Extinctions
Old Machines
This is a very talented band, and they turn over every stone, rock, and boulder on the album. Extreme Cosmic Metal? For sure…I would also add “Epic” in front of that, due to the nature of the songs and the band’s ability to create these soundscapes. Even for as complicated as the album is, it is quite easy for the listener to assimilate.
Ruination Revelation
Where Evil Follows
A good Speed Metal band with a great potential. But this album could be better.
Mistake
Refiner
It seems that this band wants to change rules into Metalcore. Do it!
Morbid Ataraxia
Putridity
If one band can change the rules into Brutal Death Metal, this Italian quintet is the right one!
Mind Games
Psykosis
A very good and full Thrash Metal release from these Irish maniacs!
The End Takes Form
Obstruktion
This mix between between Swedish Death Metal with Hardcore is really great!
Cutting Through
Mutant Sex Demon
An addictive release of Thrash/Black Metal mixed with influences of Metal Punk!

Annihilation

Rotten Magick
Sorcerot
The album was quite impressive. The band deftly mixed a few different genres into their music, and did it so well, that they blended effortlessly. The rattle of Black Metal is very much present, but the riffs are discernable, unlike some of their forefathers. This is a take no prisoners, grab you by the balls assault.
Visions of Utopia
Electromancy
This was a solid album, and one of the best compliments I can pay to it is that it doesn’t sound like it was performed by robots. It has a combination of Black Metal and Industrial elements, and it organic, but lively at the same time. I believe any fans of either genre will find the album to their liking.
Miseria
Shadows
Overall, this was a solid release. As I mentioned, there isn’t a lot of variety, so in that absence, the band has to really drive their sound through you ears and into your head, and they did that.
Gauntlet
Gam
Overall, this is about as straightforward as Metal gets, but it wasn’t uninteresting to me. The best parts are the deep gutturals and the cavernous sounds of the riffs for me.
Stormcaller
Krigsgrav
This album is a masterwork in merging the agonizing crawl of doom metal with the shrieking despair of black metal, forging a sound that is as powerful as it is ominous. Not for the faint of heart, it demands patience, attention, and emotional surrender. But for those willing to walk its desolate path, it offers something rare: not just music, but an experience of dread, power, and sublime desolation.
Nada
Entropia
Entropia is a scathing critique wrapped up in scathing riffs.
Unholy Trinity
Lord Belial
First with "Rapture" and now with "Unholy Trinity," LORD BELIAL offer profane testimony that their dark talents intensified during their absence.
To Speak In Tongues
Kings Hammer
One Man's Vision, One Man's Band. I Present Kings Hammer "To Speak In Tongues"
The Immortal
In Mourning
The balance on the album is superb, and it is also very emotional. There are hardened, contentious elements that are tempered with moments of pure melodic bills, unleashed at just the right time. The key to the album is the band’s unabashed power.
Icon of Ruin
Graceless
Who said Old School Death Metal was a Dying Art. If it is someone forgot to tell Graceless. Long Live Old School Death Metal
Degeneration Chamber
Condition Critical
“Degeneration Chamber” offers aggression, intensity, and pace. Build upon a solid traditional Thrash Metal foundation, all songs offer modern Thrash Metal elements, added complexity in tempo, and a few crossover vibes
Vento Divino
Feary Tales
“Vento Divino” is a mixture of everything ranging from traditional Heavy Metal, melodic Death Metal, modern Metal, and progressive Metal elements
Prime
Imperialist
The cover art is fantastic, and the band have indeed honed their craft into a concise sound on the album. But I was hoping for a little more adventure, and some surprises. With their talent, the band could go to unforeseen heights. Fans who like the traditional approach to Black Metal, however, will find a lot to their liking here.
