Kåre André Sletteberg - (In The Woods…)
November 20, 2022
Being different, making a difference in being different than earlier, channeling something new to the world in order to show change. Whether it is for the better or worse, that is for every listener to decide and reflect upon. It appears that the ego element dropped when the Norwegian In The Woods… is concerned. A changing of the guard can actually do that. With the release of their new album, "Diversum", there are a lot of emotions bursting, enough to empty from a darkened soul. Steinmetal was able to chat with guitarist Kåre André Sletteberg about the new record and the experience.

Cam Mesmer & Al Lester - (Spell)
November 17, 2022
To strive for something, and make an effort, there is always a price to be paid, whether it is time or simply doing other things that do not concern the deed done. Is there a right or wrong here, there is none actually, it is simply how it feels. The Canadian duo of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, Spell, following the success of their previous album, deliver a shout out to the early 80s with "Tragic Magic". Steinmetal had a chance to have a talk with Cam Mesmer and Al Lester about the new album, the general feel of the record and more.

Sascha Heese & Andreas Bauer - (Unchained Horizon)
November 6, 2022
Taking a walk on the wild side, and it can be done without somebody asking, it is just a flow, a process, being done with patience and a lot of passion. When comes to the German Unchained Horizon, it was once when they implemented modernity to their favour, making a fusion with their old tastes into a new form. Nonetheless, their new album, "Fallen Kingdom", shows that there is no place like home, the origins, and tradition, and there you have a full blown Heavy Metal albums. Steinmetal had a chance to talk with founder Sascha Heese, and the new guy, Andreas Bauer, about the album, the experience and more…

Dan Lorenzo - (Cassius King)
November 4, 2022
There is never a tiring moment for busy bees, always working, creating stuff in order to be used for later, or mainly fulfilling themselves by continuously being busy. Dan Lorenzo, which has been constantly on the vibe with his creations, doesn't appear to stop, and that is good. After making moves with a variety of projects, there is one that has been around for years, and it just popped a new album, and the name is Cassius King. Titled "Dread The Dawn", which is actually the band's sophomore, brings back good memories of old Doom and Hard Rock. Steinmetal had to chat again with Lorenzo to understand the record better, and the work with Jason McMaster.
