Peccata Mortalia
Entartung
And again, your Ol' Big Daddy here have the opportunity to review an album from German band ENTARTUNG, their second album, called "Peccata Mortalia".
The band efforts direct to our ears to an atmospheric and raw Black Metal, full of darkened melodies and a depressive aura last the entire album. No, it's nothing really new at all, but it's good and honest.
Lykormas took the duties of mixing and mastering himself, so prepare your souls: their music really is raw, but this doesn't make their music sound in a not understandable way. Of course you'll hear vocals, guitars, keyboards (besides these are in a low volume here) and drums.
The songs are all very long (excepting "Faith on the Scaffold", that lasts almost six minutes, the shortest one), but don't mind: they're good pieces of Black Metal.
The best songs of the album are the oppressive "Blasphemaverit in Spiritum Sanctum", the morbid "Out of Darkness into Light", and the longest and full of rhythmic variations "To Conquer Immortality in the Depths".
Very good, indeed!
