With over 30 years of pure unapologetic death comes a vile display of blasphemy

Bütcher - On Fowl of Tyrant Wing
October 3, 2024
BÜTCHER is on its second life. The first one was from 2002 until 2007, and only produced two demos. This time their existence started in 2017, and has brought us as Metal afficionados a lot more physical music. Metal with is mostly Speed orientated, with large additions of Black Metal and a little bit less Thrash Metal parts.

Tsatthoggua – We Are God
August 21, 2024
The album cover is fantastic, with vivid hues of red. However, that might be the best part of the album as a whole. The band isn’t without talent, as I mentioned, but they just rely too much on a similar sound from song to song.

Darkestrah – Nomad
May 1, 2024
This was a solid album. Black Metal elements blend smoothly with Doom elements until as a listener, you aren’t sure how to feel. On one hand, blinding rage, and on the other, utter despair. It is these types of feelings that the album imparts.

Funeral Winds – 333
March 14, 2024
Overall, this is first wave inspired, maddening Black Metal with the gas pedal pressed firmly to the floor. It was a little too repetitive for me, however.

Suicide Circle – Bukkake of Souls
January 14, 2024
This isn’t just another Black Metal band who lacks imagination and is unwilling to explore their own creation. Indeed, some of the traditional elements are thrown out the window, but the ones that matter are kept. This, as well as the duo’s penchant for supporting background sounds really propels the album forward.

Deathcode Society – Unlightenment
January 8, 2024
“Unlightment” grows on you—a sort of necrotic infection that rots not only your flesh but your soul.

Aegrus – Invoking the Abysmal Night
November 19, 2023
The album featured many traditional Black Metal elements, along with some doom and gloom, and enough variety to keep the listener engaged.
