Cryptic Shift - Overspace & Supertime
March 1, 2026
I have no choice but to be amazed, enthralled and totally enamoured with what CRYPTIC SHIFT is presenting me with on “Overspace & Supertime”. To me this all sounds absolutely superb, has all the elements that make me crave to hear more of CRYPTIC SHIFT; excitement, surprise, attraction and superb musicianship.

Final Coil – 1994
March 1, 2026
I’m slightly embarrassed that I don’t know much about this band, but it does make me an objective reviewer. Although only four songs long, it does take me back to the 90’s music scene, which I largely tried to forget about, besides a few notable names. I can hear those notable names on the album, and it’s a sentimental and nostalgic way to pay tribute. There is also a lot of energy flowing from their music.

For homework, go read Dune or some other popular space novel with this playing in the background, and write a five-paragraph essay on your thoughts.

Graveborn – Metempsychosis
February 27, 2026
Take a close look at the album cover for clues of what you might find musically. Deep shades of purple and blue swirls chase each other’s tails high in the canopy while a single person watches. It’s like magic in many ways. Their musicianship…is stellar, and they are able to breathe new life into the genre by taking bold steps on both sides of the aisle. It will leave you drained by the end, utterly spent.

Sypsis - Annihilated Existence
February 27, 2026
I am enamoured with the results of what i have been hearing while I have been listening to “Annihilated Existence” time and time again, and have no qualms into proclaiming this to be a treasured album.

Melancholie – Winterkronieken
February 25, 2026
After a second listen, I came to appreciate the album more. The lengthy songs can be intimidating to a listener whose attention span might not be long enough, but I kept finding subtle nuances on the album. These nuances suggest a grand storyteller, and musician. I have to say I enjoyed the outright melodies more than the aggressive blueprint of Black Metal, but there is a great balance on the album between the two.

Nemorous – What Remains When Hope Has Failed
February 25, 2026
If you take a look at the unassuming cover for the album, it might not tempt you to open it up and listen to it. But, as the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. In considering the album title, when optimism, belief, or the expectation that things will get better is gone… what’s left of us? I prefer the defiant interpretation over the bleak one, where your will to live is hardened and you drag yourself off of the floor and fight back. If we have no fight left, what is there to live for? These questions you can ponder while you take in the album’s beauty and starkness.

Tjaktjadálvve – Encompassing Nothingness
February 25, 2026
This album will steal your hope, harden your soul, and leave you feeling nothing by the end. That’s the album title, “Encompassing Nothingness.” As the cold winds fade at the end, so does your sense of self, and you melt into the earth to become one with the void.

Killerwitch - Palace Of The Dragon

Musically KILLERWITCH does go back to the eighties in feel, atmosphere as well as sounds, giving “Palace Of The Dragon” a bit of an underground vibe.

Godoviir - Artificial Dream
February 23, 2026
I've listened to a lot of progressive rock and metal over the years, and while "ARTIFICIAL DREAM" didn't have the WOW! factor to really make an impression on me to stick with me forever, I adore the messages brought by Igor and GODOVIIR.

Lily Lowe – Beautiful Disaster
February 21, 2026
In sum, this was a fine album, as well as one that was fun to listen to. Lily’s vocals power the musicians, but they also keep up nicely. Most of the songs were around three minutes, which doesn’t give them album a lot of diversity, but it was fine as is.

3 Headed Snake – Catharsis (single)
February 20, 2026
Musically you can classify 3 HEADED SNAKE as following; take the ultimate power that a band like MALICE always portrayed, the compelling nature that JUDAS PRIEST is capable of and combine it with the vocal qualities that QUEENSRŸCHE is well known for.
review
Funeral Skies – Fragment Through Hollow Eternity
February 18, 2026
This was an absolutely fantastic album. Not only is the trio musically gifted at their instruments, they write melodies that are straightforward, high reaching, and just a joy to listen to. Pop this in on a long drive, and the time will pass peacefully.

Thus Defiled - Wings of the Nightstorm (Reissue)
February 17, 2026
Whereas the musical style definitely is Black Metal, THUS DEFILED aren’t afraid to venture out into Thrash and/or Heavy metal territory when the songs demand it. That is where the real power lies within THUS DEFILED.

Black Magic Tree – Terra
February 17, 2026
BLACK MAGIC TREE has the capability to write songs that come from listening to a lot of different bands that have coloured the Rock scene throughout the decades, and they have made it into a beautiful melting pot on “Terra”.

No Terror In The Bang – Existence
February 16, 2026
This is an album that’s a study in extremes. On one end, it’s smooth, melodic, and perhaps even introspective at times. On the other end however, it’s aggressive, brutal, even punishing, I feel like five songs was enough to capture the band’s essence, primarily because each of them had a similar sound and a similar length. One thing I would have liked would be a bit more diversity, but I am looking forward to what they might do next.

DeathAssault – DeathAssault
February 10, 2026
What I do know is that when DEATHASSAULT tones it down a bit, even becomes a bit of emotional in their approach, "DeathAssault" sounds a lot more intense and sincere. When the singer then puts on his clean vocals, you feel that you have entered a whole other world.

. If you’re not strapped to your chair when seated and using speakers, or haven’t fastened your headphones to you when listening that way, I advise you to get that done immediately. Architectural Genocide - Malignant Cognition
February 8, 2026
“Malignant Cognition” is recognised as a full-length album but I need you as a listener of this kind of music, but most of all buyer of physical or digital formats that the length of the whole experience is only 23:43 minutes. That is quite short.
