One of the most important legacies of Thrash Metal German School for the generations to come is the presence of oppressive brutality. It's a feature that the North American School has, but not as evident as on German tyrants as DESTRUCTION, KREATOR and SODOM. Some works from these giants as "Infernal Overkill", "Violent Revolution" and "Persecution Mania" show that you can have a Thrash Metal style with melodies and an aggressive approach. Ok, I know that this formula is extremely difficult to be accepted by a broader public, but it has fanatic fans.

And to these fanatics, I truly recommend the Turkish band, THRASHFIRE, that is really unleashing a violent work on their EP, "Vengeance of Fire".

Without copying anyone, but truly inspired by the German Big Three of Thrash Metal, they show a musical work violent and intense, but technically worked, abusively aggressive and heavy as Hell. Yes, these guys are pretty good, and doing such sound on Turkey can be a trial, once it is a bit distant from the European Metal centers. But they have courage and guts, and their work is really very good.

Ali Öztürk accompanied them on their recording sessions, and Ünsal Özata made the mixing and mastering of this EP. We have no complains about it, because it does not sound moldy or as a "mommy-I-want-to-be-a-80-Metal-band". No, here the sound quality is really good, keeping their music aggressive, ripping and destructive to our necks, but we can understand their music clearly, what the musical instruments are playing. It's not they really deserves yet, but it fits by now.

I really recommend you to hear all their songs, because they are truly addictive.

"Vengeance of Fire" is fast and has high doses of adrenaline pumping from our speakers, with violent thrashing guitars drilling our ears, and "Thrash Assassinations of Rotten Streets" keeps the massacre with fast tempos, very good chorus and fine harsh vocals. The speed does not come down on "Chainsaw Metal", with very good tempos once more, and a good work from bass guitar and drums. And these three songs are the new ones, but as bonus, there are two songs, "Silent Torture" (where some influences from DESTRUCTION are clear in some moments, especially on vocals) and "Kill the Fake God", both from their 2007 Demo.
