Well, I have to rethink Australia's Metal scene. Yes, because I'm dealing with many bands from that country, and to be honest, all of them are truly good in the way they are, sounding a bit different from another countries. Maybe I'm witnessing a new time, and names as the trio THE FUROR, from Perth, are coming to show that the country is truly fertile on Metal. "Cavalries of the Occult", their fifth album, is here to prove my words. It's the nastiest, rawest and aggressive Thrash/Death/Black Metal you can think of, but at the very same time, they do a fine work in terms of musical arrangements. It's done only of filthy, brutality and speed. You can also feel that behind all the elements that are used to forge in fire their songs, there's a thinking and intelligent mind behind it all. So even so brutal and nasty, they have guts and personality, and their musical work is truly amazing!

The sound quality given to "Cavalries of the Occult" is truly aggressive and thunderous, as their music demands, with the right doses of filth and rawness. But as well, you can feel that they worked in a way on the production that they can sound brutal and explosive, but with the sound clarity that the fans need to understand what they are about with their work. So, we can say that Nizam Aziz did a very good work on mixing and mastering. The artwork was created by Luciferium War Graphics, and is really amazing.

Be prepared for a furious sequence of blows into your ears, because they have no limits, and their music will hook you! The brutal and fast onslaughts perpetrated on "Death Manifest" (very good technical work on bass guitar and guitars, showing good solos and brutal riffs) and on "Cavalries of the Occult" (with very good vocals and good technical parts), the mix between technical, fast and hypnotic guitars shown on "Second Coming Slaughtered", the thrashing tempos of "The Flames of Fate" (the drums are perfect, with very fast parts), the brutal grasping force of the rhythmic session on "Storm of Swords" and "Rampage Upon the Rational", and the subjective melodies on "Totaliterror" can be said as the band's greatest moments on the album. But it's truly excellent from the beginning to the end.

Listen to it, buy it, but don't dare to not listen to this brutal and amazing band!
