And from time to time, Finland shows that is not only a great warehouse for new bands, but to some original ones, those who run away from conformism and try to do something different from the others. And those lands now give, to the Metal world, one more fine band, the quartet STAR INSIGHT, that is coming with their first album, "Messera", after two Demos, one EP and one Single.

They do a mix between extreme Metal and some electronic effects, sounding like a heavier and more musical diverse version on THE KOVENANT, but more original and extreme Metal orientated, and not so Industrial, gathering some influences from DIMMU BORGIR and NIGHTWISH here and there, so their music is elegant and extreme in both ways, and at very same time. Their mix of extreme vocals (with some clear moments), excellent guitar riffs, a strong and heavy rhythmic of bass and drums weighting like Hell, and good keyboards orchestrations and effects is something very different we're used to hear, and it's excellent, no doubt about that in any moment!

The sound production is extremely fine, clear and heavy, giving a great importance to keyboards (they're very important to their music, mind you all), but without letting other instruments in a limbo where nothing from them is expected.

"Messera" seems like a fresh air blow into Metal scene because it's different from many works done actually, going in the opposite way many are doing.

Their finest moments: the extremely fine "Limbo" (with great moments from keyboards and vocals, reminding us all of something like "Sulphur Feast" from THE KOVENANT), the variations of "Emanuela" (the mix of more melodic and romantic moments with extreme ones is extremely fine), the mid-tempo work seeing on "Night with Fever" (extreme orchestrations and great riffs), the Arabian and oriental touches on "Frozen Rose" (again with great guitars, both on riffs and solo), the perfect and hooking "Oath" (wonderful vocals, bass and drums work), and the more melodic and deeply intense "Poem of Misery" (a very good participation of a female voice makes the song more accessible to many fans not used to extreme Metal) .

Perfect, and nothing more is needed to say.
