Skrew - Universal Immolation album cover

Ferocious, nasty, aggressive and savage as a bulldog, and being an old stallion in service of Metal, North American SKREW, from Austin (Texas), is a band that leaves no doubts about what they want to do: to deafen us all with their impacting and hazardous music, specially speaking about the new album, the vicious "Universal Immolation".

Mixing a thundering Thrash Metal in a SLAYER and TESTAMENT way, with bolting Industrial Metal influences from names like MINISTRY, be sure to guard yourself and to not play this album on an extreme volume level, or be prepared to see the ceiling coming down above your head!

As technical as brutal, "Universal Immolation" has a very good sound quality, turning a easy duty to hear and understand the mass made by screamed and harsh voices (with some high pitch screams), insane and destroying riffs from guitars, a heavy and thundering rhythmic basis, some Industrial effects. And all these elements are not entangling with each other, but are on their due places in their work. But it's too aggressive to the point of hurting our ears if we use headphones to hear their work (here in Brazil, due the absence of laws, it would be the only way a Metal head can hear some music sometimes. Brazilian people sometimes lacks of manners to understand that if they want to hear some shit rhythms, it's up to them, no to all of us... Really, Big Daddy hates some people here!).

Best moments: "Rise" and its wild storm of great riffs and insane voices (along with a bitter and slow tempo, turning many moments too abrasive for our ears), the experimental laboratory of aggressiveness called "Empires" (with some faster moments), the destructive "Nazarene Lash" (hear its insane rhythmic session!), the slower paced "Chaos Reigning" (what great vocals, with contrast with natural aggressive tunes with screamed voices), and the Industrial nightmare called "The Lie".

Very, very good, indeed...
