What is, in the end of things, so called Sleazy Rock?

It's just a combination of Hard Rock/Glam Metal with musical elements from Heavy Metal (in general, its weight) and Hardcore, giving birth to a musical style that is nastier, and visually it's extremely outrageous and androgynous. But we can't deny the talent of many bands of the style. It was a great hit in the second half of the 80s, and is back now, as the Italian quintet ROXIN' PALACE is here to prove that Sleazy Rock is back. "Freaks of Society" is a very good album.

For the visual, they use a straight insight, like Rock 'n' Roll and Hardcore bands, but musically they are close to what PRETTY BOY FLOYD, MOTLEY CRUE and many bands did in the 80s, and their music sounds savage and aggressive, but with lovely catchy melodies, very good backing vocals and excellent choruses. The final result of their songs is really excellent! The sound quality that these freaks of Italy got on the album is really very good, keeping the classic elements from their style clear, but with a modern outfit. Melodic, heavy and bittersweet at the same time, the way a Sleazy band must be, with a very good balance between aggressiveness, rawness, weight and clarity.

Yes, they are pretty good, indeed!

"Monsters Love" with its lovely and nasty melodies on guitars and vocals, the musical mammoth called "Gangs Eraser" (excellent modern outfit, keeping the doses of aggressiveness and melody on the same proportions), the essential accessible song called "Postatomic Hotel" (great work from bass guitar and drums here), the harsh and bittersweet melodies of guitars on "Monkey Junkie" and "Rockers of the Eagle" (the rhythmic kitchen of the band is cooking fine and heavy moments here, with some very good changes on the tempos), the melodic duo filled with a very good and tasteful dose of musical accessibility of "Neighbourhood Stars" and "Fading Idol", and the nasty and heavy parts of "Little Lizzy" can be said as their best freaking moments.
