The mix of the brutality and bitter weight of Death Metal with a refined technique is a great achievement. I enable a total whole and new musical conception to come into the scene, and in this way, Death Metal brood a new style. In this vein is the furious French quintet RED DAWN. And they are unleashing a massive Death Metal bombing on "Algorithm of Destruction". Ok, I really understand that the style is here for some years, but these guys are really good, creating a very good and aggressive form of music, with aggressive vocals (that uses a great diversity of tunes, from guttural to shrieked ones), fine and technical guitars, and a brutal and technical rhythmic kitchen. Of course, their songs are good, although some improvements must be done.

The sound quality is good. It's clear enough for you to understand what they are playing, with the right dose of musical weight and aggressiveness. But it could have been done with a more careful insight, because some tunes are giving that impression of an "artificial" sound in some points of their songs. The first song is just an introduction, so the album has nine good songs. The best moments are heard on the brutal "Cracked Clock", the good technical approach used on "Hate" (only the piggish screams could be left out of it), the fine guitars on "Strange Dreams" (filled with fine tempo changes, and great work from bass guitar and drums), the oppressive weight on "Alter Ego", and the fast and furious aggressiveness of "Fall of Curtain".

The only problems they must solve are on vocals (Nours has excellent tunes, but must leave aside piggish screams), and the recording can be done in a better way. But for a first album, it's a great achievement.

Listen it and blow your ears out.
