His Best Deceit
Possession
An assault of aggression and fierce music coming from Belgium. This is what POSSESSION is about, coming with their first EP, "His Best Deceit".
It's a massive and aggressive Death / Black Metal music, with some touches of old school Thrash Metal, but pulsing with life and full of energy, showing a band that really have a good future if they know how to deal their cards. Good riffs, bass and drums forming a strong rhythmic basis, and iron vocals. They sound like a mix of old BEHERIT with some aspects from SEPULTURA in their Death Metal days.
As all Demos, it could have a better recording, but it's good enough to understand the instruments and their music as a whole, so, it's not a question of quality, but of musicality.
Four tracks of pure fucking aggression comes from the speakers, so you better beware, for they show a strong personality and will to make all people deaf with the music, especially in "Possession", the slow and disturbing "His Best Deceit", and in their version for SEPULTURA's "Necromancer", from their first album, "Bestial Devastation", respecting the song, but putting their personality on it in a very violent way.
These guys deserve an album as fast as possible!
