Miracle Flair - Angels Cast Shadows album cover

In some albums, we hear that the focus of a band seems to be fusing musical elements from different styles into a different format. In Metal, it happens commonly every single day. That's the main way to bring the driving force of evolution acting. So, it works as we can hear on the Swiss band MIRACLE FAIR's second album, called "Angels Cast Shadows," are unexpected, but are always good. In the band's work, we can hear a Symphonic Metal embodiment fused with abrasive guitar tunes from modern Metal styles, and a fine use of melodies contrasting with a good level of musical aggressiveness and an instrumental technique that avoids being too complicated. Of course, their musical work is personal, has a strong identity pulsing in their songs.

Tommy Vertelli (a.k.a Tommy T. Baron, CORONER's guitarist) was chosen to be the album's producer. He did an excellent work on "Angels Cast Shadows", that sounds clear and heavy in due proportions. The sound flows with no problems, and all the musical elements of the band are in a very good equilibrium. The efforts done by the band on "Angels Vast Shadows" result in a very good musical work, indeed. The best moments can be heard on the fine mix of melodies and aggressiveness heard on "Angels Cast Shadows" (very good riffs, and tender vocals), the tender and charming chorus of "Embracing the End" (showing very good guitar riffs), the waving melodies shown on "The Unfulfilled" (good guitar solos, and fine bass guitar and drums works), the fine contrast between aggressive riffs and catchy melodies used on "I Am Your Truth" and on "Soul Witness" (on this one, the vocals are really excellent), and the modern atmosphere that fills "Great Spirit". As a bonus track, we have the acoustic version for "I Am Your Truth" that is beautiful and opens possibilities for a more accessible approach in the future. They really did a fine work, and the future seems to be great for MIRACLE FLAIR.
