I
Landskap
A lovely and introspective band coming from London, UK. It's what we find on "I", from LANDSKAP.
They do a more introspective and experimental form of Doom Metal, sometimes sounding like a Stoner Metal band, but always good in the middle of their hypnotic music. And it's very good, with good organs appearing in the middle of heavy riffs, bass appearing with good accords, heavy drumming and very good vocals.
The sound production is fine, keeping the 70's spirit without sounding moldy and dusty. It's just the opposite: it sounds fresh and clean.
There are only four tracks (it's a pity, but it's the way of this release): the excellent ones "A Nameless Fool" (a true funeral march, with great vocals and guitars here) and "Fallen So Far", both great songs, and the instrumentals "My Cabin in the Woods" and "To Harvest the Storm" (this one lasting more than 10 minutes, but not a boring song).
A good work, indeed, but guys, come back soon with a full length! Your music is too good to stay on an EP only...
