Kazjurol - Multi Dead World album cover

To create a new Metal genre is something that isn't as simple as many can think. The best thing to do, when you can't create a new Metal genre is to do things in the best way you want to be yourself. Once more: EXODUS created Thrash Metal, METALLICA released the first album of the genre, and SLAYER did the things on its own way. They all are Thrash Metal bands, but all of them have their own personality. And KAZJUROL, a veteran Swedish band from the 80's is back from the dead, releasing "Multi Dead World", their second full length.

They're into a Thrash Metal/Crossover trend, something violent that could be described as the musical violence unleashed by EXODUS but with some Thrashcore traces inherited from names as D.R.I. and NUCLEAR ASSAULT, and even some melodic remnants of old METALLICA. So their music has its value, and besides it isn't new at all, it bear an amazing energy and shows identity.  The sound quality of the album was conceived to make the musical violence evident, but being defined in a way that anyone can understand what is being played. But of course the band made the option for something that could sound modern and aggressive. Maybe a better set of instrumental tunes on the next time would improve things, but it's very good as it already is.

The brutal tempo changes of "A System Monolithic", the brutal impact of "Altered State (of Mind)" (some melodies can be heard on the guitar in some moments), the high level of adrenaline created by "Suicide Solution" and "Burn Beyond" (this one is a short and violent Thrash/Crossover that can make the head starts to bang without noticing it), the fast and furious "Multi Dead World" (another song with clear influences from US Crossover and very good vocals), and the Old School Thrashing attack called "Merciless Insanity" (fine work from bass guitar and drums) are the best shots, but the listener will love "Human Force", "Who Needs You" and "Stagedive to Hell" as well.

Some can say that "Multi Death World" can sound "outdated", but it's alive, savage and brutally grasping. Hear KAZJUROL work and have your ears bleeding!
