When we are dealing with Sleazy Rock, you must understand that this genre is based on a nasty and Punk Rock approach of Glam Metal/Californian Hard Rock. It's aggressive and crude, but still done with catchy elements. A fine musical example is given by "The Lost Boyz", the second full length of Spanish quartet EROTIC PSYCHO.

They play as aggressive and musically accessible as MOTLEY CRUE did on "Too Fast for Love" and "Shout at the Devil". Their reckless and sharp guitars, along with a solid work from bass guitar and drums, along with nasty vocals' tunes, create excellent melodies and hooks in our minds. It's the essence of rebellion in Rock'n'Roll, and a true despair for those politically correct fools that infest the scene. If you're a political correctness militant, this album surely is not for you; but if you're a Metal/Rock fan in your heart, listen to it at the loudest volume! On the sound quality, we can say that a very good work was done. They sound organic and aggressive, but with very good definitions on the instrumental tunes. We can say that the old format of Glam/Hard Rock is working perfectly with this modern and defined quality of sound. Yes, it's pretty good, indeed.

Musically, although we heard this same genre a lot of times, in their hands it works in a very good way. The energy of "Mainstream Whore", the nasty and aggressive guitars shown on "Lost Boyz", that down'n'slow charming tempos used on "Hot Gun Killer", the charming Rock'n'Roll accessibility of "Sweet Suicide" (some influences of Punk Rock can be heard on this song), the groove essence heard on "Stinky Boy Blues", and the extremely accessible rhythm of "Rock'n'Roll is not Dead (You Are)" can be heard countless times. But the entire album is truly good. For those that worry about political correctness, stay away from EROTIC PSYCHO, because these lost boys will run over you with "The Lost Boyz".
