Confronto - Imortal album cover

CONFRONTO is an emerging name of Brazil's Metal Scene, mixing Metal and Hardcore to create a intense and aggressive music, that sometimes rips out our ears and break ours necks, and "Imortal", their new full-length, released through Urubuz Records, is amongst the best albums from Brazilian scene of this year.

Fruit of their experience in Brazilian stages and worldwide tours, "Imortal" is their finest piece of music, showing a band that does not stop of evolving, turning them into a more aggressive and intense band, without losing their earlier power.

High pitch screams without losing the pronunciation, guitar riffs intense and heavy as Hell and solos well constructed, bass and drums forming a heavy and cohesive rhythm kitchen, and the result is: run for your lives, because a heavy truck is running down a hill, and it will run over us all without mercy!

Twelve pieces of pure hatred and aggression against the establishment gathered together in an album produced, mixed and mastered by Davi Baeta (having the helping hands of Gabriel Zander and Felipe Ribeiro in the recordings) in DQG Studio, so prepare for a musical slaughter intense and extremely heavy, but sounding clean, for you can hear any minimal detail in their work, and the presences of the special guests as Carlos Lopes (DORSAL ATLÂNTICA), João Gordo (RATOS DE PORÃO), Felipe Eregion (UNEARTHLY), and Jonathan Cruz, Caio Mendonça, Paulo Doc and Victor Mendonça (LACERATED AND CARBONIZED) makes it even better than we could thought.

When putting "Imortal" to play in your house, remember you religious neighbors, or the ones who love to disturb your peace with other kinds of music that you detest. It's time for them to pay! Payback every one of them, and as louder as your speakers can.

The highlights: the intense and aggressive "Imortal" (with excellent vocals and guitar riffs), "Eu Sou a Revolução" (showing that the singer Felipe Cheruan is doing a wonderful work), "Aos Dragões" (the rhythm kitchen is doing a great job, but pay attention to the drums' double-bass), and "Dilúvio" (a hit in your face, harsh and ripping to the very core, but if you way some minutes after the music ends, you'll hear a surprise. I'll leave to you all the felling of discovery).

An excellent release, and for sure you'll get your copy, for it'll be released in other countries, so, prepare your necks for the slamdancing and moshpits.
