The Italian Power Metallers of Stranger Vision find comfort in the notion that hope exists and it can be reached. To rise up again, and to become stronger, not every person can do it, needless to say, survive what lies ahead. It is a matter of will, the motivation to become better even if there is chance to falter. Taking on the pagan approach towards the extremity of the blackened arts of Metal music, there is Timor Et Tremor. There is a variety of things that can be experienced through their music, and their new album "Realm Of Ashes" is a pure reflection of what is going on in a lot of people's lives, the fall, and the rise from the ashes. Alex Rossi is a one man, musical machine from Tuscany, Italy. His latest band KONQUEST released their second album "Time and Tyranny" in October of 2022 (see Metal Temple revew from November 7, rated 9/10) where Alex wrote and sings all the songs, plays all the instruments as well as all studio mixing. MORPHIDE hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark started making music in 2015. Originally coming from Latvia, the duo plays a mix of alternative and progressive Metal and "Anhedonia" is their debut album. With influences from bands like JINJER, SPIRITBOX, or TESSERACT, "Anhedonia" has all the ingredients to become one of the album highlights in 2022. There is never a tiring moment for busy bees, always working, creating stuff in order to be used for later, or mainly fulfilling themselves by continuously being busy. Dan Lorenzo, which has been constantly on the vibe with his creations, doesn't appear to stop, and that is good. After making moves with a variety of projects, there is one that has been around for years, and it just popped a new album, and the name is Cassius King. Titled "Dread The Dawn", which is actually the band's sophomore, brings back good memories of old Doom and Hard Rock. Whether it was a big miss or not, time will tell. Nonetheless, on the short run, the end result is already there, and turned out to be glorious. Prior to fronting the new Hard Rock / Heavy Metal band Scream Taker, Jim Crean had a great opportunity to go on. Nonetheless, the pandemic happened and all the planning gone to shambles. Even so, sitting on one's hands wasn't an option and there you have Scream Taker. With the release of their sixth studio album "Weathered and Torn" in September 2022 that deals with life's journeys, trials and darkness and human perseverance strengthened by guidance from above. Metal Temple writer Fred Bonanno was able to sit down with Tittsworth for an interview after watching his band perform earlier this month at the Arcadia theater in St. Charles, IL.

This is the summary of what old school, proto-Metal Fusion Rock starlets, Spellbook. Unravelling stories, times and places in their local area that weren't exactly public knowledge, in particular where witchcraft is concerned, the group released "Deadly Charms", providing their insight around the horrific mysteries in a plethora of vintage Metal type music. Steinmetal caught Nate Tyson for another chat about this new venture.

Eric Martin is an American singer, musician, and songwriter. His impressive musical resume is second to none, which includes the original voice of MR. BIG, preforming and recording with some of the biggest names in the industry, and playing live to millions all over the world, currently touring as Eric Martin Band with the incredibly talented lineup of: P J Farley (Trixter), Paul Pesco and Paul Hartless. He is part of Avantasia's latest album, released on October 21^st. Metal Temple writer Fred Bonanno was privileged to see his band last week at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Illinois, and even more privileged to call Eric a personal friend, he has a great sense of humor and is one of the most genuine and grounded people I know. He was kind enough to sit down with me (after a lot of begging and pleading) and answer a few questions for Metal Temple.

NARCOTC WASTELAND is a death metal band formed in North Carolina by lead guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade, after spending nearly nineteen years with NILE. Much of the bands songs are based on emotional issues plaguing today's society such as drug and alcohol abuse . Their second album "Delirium Tremens" on Megaforce records is scheduled for release early 2023. Metal Temple writer Fred Bonanno had the privilege to see the band live last weekend, and they are a high energy, unrelenting, riveting, and deafening band. The chemistry between the dual guitar players, Dallas and Edwin Rhone is impeccable. He sat down with Dallas (once his hearing came back) to ask a few questions.

On September 30th Diamond Head will release their newly Remastered Double Disc Version of "Lightning To The Nations" on Silver Lining Music, and it's electric, so play it loud! I have waited too long for these Diamond lights to shine on the streets of gold with a proper release of this "White Album" I Michael Francisco spoke with the not so sweet and innocent Brian Tatler all about this forthcoming 2CD, 3 LP, and I even mentioned the Metallica connection. We chatted about the 2020 Re-recordings, and the fine prints of darkness, as well, as their new bass player Paul Gaskin.

Trauma

Losing an icon, a front, but the important thing is, a brother and a friend, has a magnitude. There were plenty of examples where bands just ceased to be, as to find a replacement was either not optional or impossible. The US Heavy Metallers, Trauma, recently lost their longstanding vocalist, Donny Hiller (R.I.P.), and things were uncertain. Nonetheless, after finding the right guy for the slot, along with the former's wishes, they continued. Releasing their new "Awakening" album, things gone darker and heavier.
