The sounds are pounding the land, and Colombia has the pleasure to receive a battalion, a Swedish war machine, SABATON was here, and promised to return.

Although this one was almost cancelled, the true and strong fans were there to give in heart and soul for this band, three Colombian flags, with the name and even the faces of the band pictured, wow that was magnificent, and I had the privilege to be one of the 100 people there to hear the guns explode.

At the beginning the intro of a very well-known song started to play, "The Final Countdown" began and the people started to jump, I still had my reserves about it, and just waited until something else were put on the scenario.

Then "The March of War" started, the people were screaming and jumping, and my cousin and I just found a better place to see the show, and it was very well paid. Those giants enter to a mini-wooden skid that was almost being little for those ones.

After, the notes of "Ghost Division" were played, and the whole place went fucking crazy, we were so few, but hell, we did more noise than anyone could expected, even SABATON was surprised with this welcoming, and took them more than a couple of minutes to understand what was happening.

Songs began to fall like leaves, "To Hell and Back", "Attero Dominatus" and "The Art of War" were among them, the few ones knew every single word from the songs, screamed at the top of our lungs, and it transported me to a fucking battle, Heroism, honor, pride and desire were filling the air, and all of us, as the band as the public, were pleased, happy and sweating the shit of all.

"Primo Victoria" was simply stunning, the choir could be heard along the whole hood, and even if this was very short (15 songs played in like one hour and a half), the perfect closing: "Metal Crüe" was played, sung, screamed and felt by all in the OZZY BAR, the place where this amazing show took place for once in a lifetime.

As always, a big thanks to my cousin Diego Pulido, the photographer, and my partner in crime, he did an amazing job. What's to say for the end: SABATON is one hell of a band, Colombia was not ready for you, and I am proud to be among the few chosen ones, to presence such an important event for the Colombian Metal Scene.
