There are times when things get nasty in the Metal scene because the fans don't know what path the style will follow. Well, some veterans like me prefer to say: let it follow the way it must, don't interfere on it. And I'm sorry to say to those who want to clone and imitate the ones that already exist: your time for ending is coming. The world doesn't belong to old formulas or visions. Who dare wins, and you don't, so, get out, losers. Metal is for the strong ones, the bands who dares to explore new elements, as the Canadian quintet THE ORDER OF CHAOS dares to do on their third album, "Apocalypse Moon".

It's truly aggressive and melodic in the both ways, or in other words, they mix the impact and catching melodies of modern Traditional Heavy Metal with some with a very good level of instrumental technique, and even some elements from extreme Metal styles (pay some attention to the very good use of harsh vocal tunes in contrast with very good clean voices). It's different from other bands in the same way due their personalities, and let me tell you, dear nephews and nieces of mine: they have guts!

Their sound production was done in a fine way, because the fruit of it is a clean sound flowing from the speakers. And they sound pretty aggressive and heavy as well, due the wise choice for very good instrumental tunes.

They could be compared, in a raw point of view, to a modern and aggressive band playing in a style near IRON MAIDEN (due their melodies) and JUDAS PRIEST (due their modern musical impact), and besides the album is good from the beginning to its end, I dare do point as their best moments these songs: "The Anthem of Pain" (this one with very good rhythmic changes and catching melodies) and "Death After Life" (done with an excellent work from guitars, keeping the balance of aggressiveness and melodies), the fine technical work on tempos presented on "Downfall" (bass and drums are really great on this song), the hooking fine melodies and vocal work on "Evil Surrounds Me" (yes, she knows a lot how to use her voice and to put the right vocal tune in the right moment), the harsh and bitter aggressiveness show on "Survival of the Richest" (due the strong and brutal tunes on the guitars, but they show very good melodic parts as well, and the vocals uses harsh tunes contrasting with clean ones in a wonderful way), the impacting power shown on "Apocalypse Moon" due the good work from bass guitar and drums, and the very good technique on vocals show on "Victim of Circumstance".
