After sometime, the pioneers of North American Black Metal PROFANATICA are back to destroy anything hallowed (and our ears, of course) with their new work, "Thy Kingdom Cum".

Polemics always followed the band history, with no rest for the wicked, but it's a seminal band, and their sound is rooted in old bands like VENOM, BATHORY, SARCÓFAGO, or telling more clearly: you can feel not only aggressiveness and a raw musical work, but the influence of Punk / Hardcore is so evident. And it's good, for sure.

The vocal line is more in low tunes than in high pitches, simple (but morbid and harsh) guitar riffs, and a rhythm basis as simple as we can have, but don't get the wrong idea: they good for that, for not trying to do something complex that would harm their personality.

The sound production is poor and raw, but if we all know Black Metal as it is, it'll be no problem at all. But even with this dirty sounding, you'll hear all the instruments with no trouble. It's nothing like something done by CRADLE OF FILTH or DIMMU BORGIR, but it's good the way it is.

Ok, I know you all are waiting me to write about the best songs, and they are: the totally Old Way "Foul the Air with Blasphemy" (mixing more aggressive and fast moments with slower ones, and what good riffs!), the harsh and fast "Denounce Him", the heavy weight "Definite Atonement" (the greater of time is a slower and funereal song, and the vocals are excellent), the harsh bloody puke of "Thy Kingdom Cum" (a mid tempo one, with bass and drums making a strong basis, with good technique level), and "Water to Blood".

Pay some respect for the ancients, and hear it loud!
