From Bandcamp, “We are God,” our third full-length album is aimed at all the perverted black sado-crazies out there. The original line-up of the band has reunited after more than twenty years to kick some ass and dominate. In true black love, we are once again signed to the renowned Osmose Productions label and offer you nine brutally hellish, blasphemous black terror tracks of the bizarre kind for.” The album has nine songs, and “Master Morality” is first. Out of the gates, the sound is aggressive, thick, and vital. The harsh vocals echo in your head, and the drums roll fast enough to obliterate the listener.

“Vorwärts Vernichter” had a dark marching quality to it, almost as if the army of the dead is on the move. They shout cheers as they march, glorifying each new kill. “The Doom-Scrawl of Taran-Ish” sounds like the stirrings of an ancient force, who has awakened to lay waste to the earth above. Musically, it isn’t a whole lot different than the first two songs, but the band performs with a lot of energy. “True Black Dove” has another dangerous sound, and the band now has used four short intros that sound evil and lead to the main sound. But again, the sound at this point is a bit repetitive.

“No Paradise for Human Sleep” is the first song that presents some variation with some subtle sound effects in the opening, but I find myself wishing the band would push more of the sound into their brand of contentious music. “Gloria Extasia” also presents a little variation, and you can tell the band is not without talent, but it just isn’t enough to overshadow their reliance on energy, and riffs that have been used before. The title track again shows promise in the opening, but it falls back to the same pattern as the other songs.

“Pechmarie” closes the album, and it’s a short and harrowing sound. The album cover is fantastic, with vivid hues of red. However, that might be the best part of the album as a whole. The band isn’t without talent, as I mentioned, but they just rely too much on a similar sound from song to song.
