This album was filthy, sludgy, and sounded like it came from the swaps of Louisiana. Besides the sheer weight of their sound, which is noteworthy, they were also able to work in some supporting elements that gave the album depth. It wasn’t overly complicated, but just enough, to keep the listener on their toes, and provide some sugar that they want to come back for.
