Biolence - Violent Obliteration
August 9, 2025
Everything that BIOLENCE does on “Violent Obliteration”. has a nice ring to it, the songs are well versed in changing tempo and intensity, and not once during the whole listening experience do feel that they are out of tune or out of sync.
review

Musically there is one thing for sure; if you like it straight forward without any side-tracking you should skip “Forbidden Morals” as it is like an ADHD patient that has consumed too much caffeine.

Degenerate - Rituals Of Rage
June 30, 2025
As for the songs on “Rituals Of Rage”, they are all within the range that is between good to outstanding. None of them are anything less that good, but also none of them outshine the others by being more than outstanding. To me that shows that DEGENERATE has consistency in their song writing and playing.

Xenos A.D. - Reqviem For The Oppressor
June 18, 2025
If you look up XENOS A.D. on the Metal Archives it says that they are a Thrash Metal band. That is partly true, but then you will have to say that METALLICA also is a pure Thrash metal band. When that band first came to the scene the were dubbed a Speed Metal band, and I feel that is also what XENOS A.D. really is.

Onslaught - Origins of Aggression
June 6, 2025
Altogether ONSLAUGHT is giving us a nice insight to what made them tick in the beginning, making “Origins of Aggression” an almost mandatory release for anyone who either hasn’t followed these guys from the start, or any Thrash Metal enthusiast that is wondering which Punk bands were important to these British Metallers.

Rickert G. - Endless Thoughts
June 3, 2025
The songs on “Endless Thoughts” have body, soul and feelings galore, and the way that RICKERT G. has put his compositions together makes a whole lot of sense. It makes for almost 42 minutes of very divers and exciting Metal.

The way the music is played and the accompanying way it exits my speakers is very much acceptable and enjoyable. I like what I hear.

Hexenhaus - Awakening (Reissue)
May 14, 2025
“Awakening” is the only one of the three rereleases that is benefitting from an extra song, knowingly the demo version of the title track “Awakening”. Was that necessary? Not really. Is it a nice touch? Yes, definitely.

Hexenhaus - The Edge Of Eternity (Reissue)
May 14, 2025
“The Edge Of Eternity” actually was the second album for the band. Originally released on 1 November 1990, while this one hit the streets on 16 may 2025. It houses a lot more Thrash influences than the debut album, making it just that tad less impressive for me. But the music that HEXENHAUS plays still is Progressive Metal with Thrash and (this time less) Heavy Metal parts to complete the sound.
review
Hexenhaus - A Tribute To Insanity (Reissue)
May 14, 2025
A Tribute To Insanity” actually was the debut album for the band. Originally released on 17 October 1988, while this one hit the streets on 16 may 2025. It immediately starts with the kind of music that defines HEXENHAUS; Progressive Heavy/Thrash Metal. If you need a reference, think a less extreme version of MEKONG DELTA mixed with snippets of OVERKILL and early METAL CHURCH.

Inherited – No Regrets
May 6, 2025
Of course, these guys aren’t changing the Metal world or even trying to be the band that sets new standards, but they are unmistakably trying to impress the hell out of anyone who will take the time to listen what they have top offer on “No Regrets”. And in that respect, they are succeeding in more songs than I would have thought possible when I started to listen to INHERITED.

Krematorium - Sinister Seduction
April 26, 2025
“Sinister Seduction” is not the heaviest Thrash Metal album you will ever encounter, but also not of one the lightest. Also, it might not be the most original album musically, the songs will still be able to enchant you in their own way. And that is what makes “Sinister Seduction” a pleasant album. Thank you KREMATORIUM.
review
Black Rabbit – Chronolysis
April 22, 2025
BLACK RABBIT is not as clean or organised as the Bay Area or Teutonic Thrash bands, but also not as disorganised as bands like early VENOM or MIDNIGHT. They hover somewhere in between, and by mixing Death and Thrash Metal in the way they do, it makes it all sound bloody impressive.
review
