NIGHT RANGER brings back the glory days of high energy rock and roll with an amazing stage show and preformance

Hyshtral - Ad Infinitum
February 27, 2026
In the 30 plus minutes that HYSHTRAL needs to get through “Ad Infinitum”, you will be thrown all over the place emotionally. One thing is for sure, the band definitely starts with their best song, as “Cell In Hell” is simply put a corker of a tune.
review
Kreator – Krushers Of The World
February 16, 2026
KREATOR deliver a signature album with a unique KREATOR sound. “Krushers Of The World” is a well-composed mixture of fast classical Thrash and melodic mid-tempo tracks, all embedded into a dark and at times melancholic melodic framework

TarLung – Axis Mundi
February 7, 2026
The title means “representing a symbolic, vertical axis connecting heaven, earth, and the underworld. It acts as a sacred, central pillar or portal.” Themes mentioned in their bio match the music quite well. The music is slow, filthy sounding, and apocalyptic in some senses…and reminds you that the world is actually a fucked place.

Gluecifer - Same Drug New High
February 3, 2026
I don’t care what your status is emotionally, if “Same Drug New High” doesn’t make you feel better than I haven’t got a clue what will. I know that every time I listen to this GLUECIFER album I get a big smile on my face, start tapping my foot and nodding my head. Welcome back!!

Cut it out with the damn samples.
review
Gnasch – The Legend of Johnny Gnasch
January 22, 2026
The album is crushing, in the way that time turns the ashes of Kings into dust. In death, we all are insignificant. As I mentioned above, it also points to a repetitive cycle that most humans find themselves caught up in and don’t question it. Shit, there has to be more to life than this, doesn’t there?

Our Oceans - Right Here, Right Now
January 15, 2026
From the gorgeous album cover, to the lovely words on the song-by-song sheet, Our Oceans have developed an aesthetic of their own.

Syberia – Quan tot s’apagui
January 14, 2026
Sometimes, the level of weight and emotionally crushing tones are so close to overwhelming you, you almost want to stop the music in its tracks. At other times, they beg you to stop and look around, taking in as many things that might tickle your senses as possible. Each layer of this music is just so easy to peel though, and I find more discoveries with each listen.

Cathedral - Society’s Pact With Satan
November 29, 2025
On this EP you hear all the elements that were needed to make CATHEDRAL into the band they were. It’s all properly and expertly put together in just one song. If this is their last hoorah, then the band couldn’t have gone out in a better way than with “Society’s Pact With Satan”.

“We didn't have examples; we didn't have any references to follow.” - Monika Chrościelewska, CZART
November 20, 2025
CZART is an experimental metal band hailing from Poland. The concept behind their debut album, “Czarty Polskie,” has been controversial not only for the AI debate but for the many references to Polish demonology. On All Hallows Eve, Gary Hernandez, writer and editor for Metal Temple, caught up with members of CZART to discuss everything from AI to the reasons why metal resonates so much in Poland to whether we are living in the best of times or the worst. Most importantly, they discuss the beloved CZART goat.

Insidius - Vulgus Illustrata
November 10, 2025
To me everything that is on “Vulgus Illustrata” has been done just right. And the fact that after just over 38 minutes my only thought is to play the record again, will tell you more than enough. I think (and hope the band does too) that INSIDIUS have been successful in giving the (in my case) unsuspecting audience a bloody good portion of devastating and overpowering Death Metal.
review
Witchunters - Different Universe (2CD)
November 3, 2025
Let me start by mentioning that if you want to get your money’s worth when buying a double album you can’t go wrong with “Different Universe” (2CD) by Italian band WITCHUNTERS. The original album already has a playing time of 70:05 minutes, while the “1985 – 1999 More Than A Demos Anthology” is another 67:36 minutes of traditional Heavy Metal.
review
Beast Eagle – Sorceress
October 22, 2025
I would love to hear more of BEAST EAGLE. I sincerely would like for them to give “Sorceress” a successor that is over 40 minutes long, a full length studio album. And I would love to see and experience what these four people can produce when they play live.

Burghâsh – La tríada dels idiotes
October 15, 2025
First, a note that it takes a lot for an artist to get his music released by a label, and as a reviewer and a consumer, I appreciate that. That said, these three songs were very poorly produced (perhaps at his request?) and there is not much I can champion about the music.

Wings of Steel - Winds of Time
October 14, 2025
The term “Let the music do the talking” has never been more apropos than for WINGS OF STEEL and the release of their highly anticipated new album “Winds of Time”, where nostalgic old school metal meets innovative and vibrant new overtones to create a musical euphoria.

Paradise Lost – Ascension
October 6, 2025
Even after their storied career seems ready to fade into the rear view mirror, PARADISE LOST shows how they got to where they are in the first place with “Ascension.” As its base, it is Gothic Metal, as dark as night shadows, but it is also so much more. It’s rich, diverse, catchy, and vital. Rather than rely on past success, they forge a new path forward. I have to assume they found the fountain of youth, because how else could one explain the magic on this, their 17th album to date.

Death Has Spoken – Elegy
September 30, 2025
This was a dreadfully delightful album, and the sheer weight of the songs, infused with supporting emotion, leaves the listener feeling drained, and hopeless. It was an intense listening experience, in terms of each song piling on more and more burden on your already frail back. Take a trip into the desperate mind of “Elegy (a poem of serious reflection, typically a lament for the dead)” and you will see what is on the other side.

Wings of Steel - Burning Sands (single)
September 29, 2025
WINGS OF STEEL are back with vengeance on the third single “BURNING SANDS” from their highly anticipated album WINDS OF TIME due for independent release on October 17th.

"It's apocalyptic, because sometimes that's exactly what it takes." - Jacob Curwen, All Hell
September 26, 2025
All Hell has been described as a Blackened Thrash band, but they are much more. On October 10, 2025, the trio for Ashville, North Carolina release their fifth full-length album, "Sunsetter," via Terminus Hate City. Gary Hernandez, writer and editor for Metal Temple, caught up with Jacob Curwen (vocals, guitars) to discuss topics ranging from the band's origins to the details of "Sunsetter" to AI in metal.

Wucan - Axioms
September 2, 2025
WUCAN takes some twists and turns with “Axioms” that might throw some listeners off, but the band stays true to their vision and refuses to stand still.
