Syrinx – Time out of Place
August 12, 2025
Overall, this was a solid listen. Sure, it has a throwback sound, but for those of us who live through those times, it was sentimental. The band is talented…they just need to sharpen things up a bit, and perhaps looking for a new producer.

Anger Machine – Human Error
August 12, 2025
“Human Error” offers a well composed mixture of traditional Thrash Metal and Groove Metal
review
Sadistic Goatmessiah - Violence
August 11, 2025
Highly enjoyable this one. The band name and the album cover pretty much say it all. This is unadulterated raw, fundamental Black and Thrash the way that Satan meant it to be.
review
Korypheus – Gigamesh
August 11, 2025
Overall, this was a solid listen for me. The band has all of the elements you would want from the genre, and are quite talented as well. It’s just a matter of sharpening their efforts a bit for this to go from a good release to an excellent one.
review
Esoctrilihuim – Spiritual Rites of the Psychopomp Abxulöm
August 9, 2025
The album seemed to encapsulate everything that someone might come across in the underground…chaotic aggression, and vocals that can frighten you even when you are asleep. The composer is obviously talented, and the album is just diverse enough. Any fans of Extreme Metal will find this to their liking.

Wolfskull - Midnite Masters
August 9, 2025
There is nothing wrong with what WOLFSKULL is playing on “Midnite Masters”. What will help some people is that the voice of singer Pete 9 has a similar sound as out little giant Glenn Danzig has, only with a little more variation in his timbre.
review
Ursawrath – Emergence
August 9, 2025
How high I feel that URSAWRATH can climb. I really have no idea. They haven’t been together that long (I think), and if they can produce this just two years after their original demo, they might have a future.
review
Ashes of The Sun - Gods With Machines
August 9, 2025
Well, let me first off tell you that this is not Extreme Metal in any way or form. No, on “Gods With Machines” you will hear simple Heavy metal and Rock, intertwined with slower and more emotional musical parts to heighten the diversity and widen the range of musical paths travelled.
review
Baelfyr – Empowered by Hatred
August 7, 2025
This was indeed a riff based, old school amalgam of Death and Black Metal, but some of the mid-tempo pacing kept the album from getting off the ground. It was a solid listening experience, and the band is talented, but if they could work in a little more diversity, it may help the album to become more memorable.

Amenspear – All My Gods Are Dying
August 5, 2025
Overall, this album got better for me as it moved along, and it seems that Steve found the sound he was looking for…a combination of Black Metal, Doom Metal, and even some Psychedelic Metal. It has piqued my interest, and I have bookmarked the band.

Naevus – Back Home
August 4, 2025
“Back Home” is a helluva album by a helluva a band. A must-have for Stoner Doom fans.
review
The Great Alone – Face Me Now
August 4, 2025
While THE GREAT ALONE isn’t necessarily metal, they are heavy, and they are good. “Face Me Now,” definitely one to check out.
review
Void - Forbidden Morals
August 4, 2025
Musically there is one thing for sure; if you like it straight forward without any side-tracking you should skip “Forbidden Morals” as it is like an ADHD patient that has consumed too much caffeine.
review
Verdalack - Force From the Grave
August 4, 2025
The riffs, breaks and tempo changes are available in abundance with VERDALACK. And the tempo usually is quite high, to the fact that I was almost considering to call this music High Speed Metal.
review
Martyr - Dark Believer
August 4, 2025
After their very impressive 2022 album “Planet Metalhead” they have more inspiration and now are giving us “Dark Believer”, their sixth studio album in total. And if you have heard or do own any of their former albums, I can put your mind at ease, as MARTYR have taken off where they left it all last time

review
Hellir – Moon: Precursor
August 2, 2025
This isn’t your dad’s brand of Black Metal. It’s fresh, modern, and cuts against the grain. The Djenty riff accents bring a level of weight to the album that just doesn’t exist in most Black Metal circles, and if this is just a precursor, I can’t wait to hear what is next.
review
Accvsed - Dealers Of Doom
August 1, 2025
Somehow German Metalcore bands have the real ability to sound so angry that you feel that they are in danger of coughing out their intestines in the process. This is certainly the case with ACCVSED from Wiesbaden, who have deemed it time to try and through us off our normal behaviour and disturb the peace and quiet with their debut album “Dealers Of Doom”.
review
Divni San - Dreamlike Tales
August 1, 2025
What’s in a name. I just can’t envision what DIVNI SAN should mean. If you look it up on your AI, it will tell you that it comes from the Slavic languages and means something like Marvelous Dream. What I can tell you is that it is a Heavy Metal band from Brussels, Belgium and was founded in 2021 by ex-members of MIDRANGE.
review
Dreams Of Gray - A Beginning
August 1, 2025
DREAMS OF GRAY is actually a one-man-band, and i have to say that if one man is capable of making this level of music, i would like to the man collaborate with like-minded people. Who knows what might come out next.
review
Iron Spell - From the Grave
August 1, 2025
The songs on “From the Grave” themselves are all very pleasant, have that ability get you tapping your foot, nodding your head, but also have the diversity and differences plus the breaks that make them all sound just that different from the other ones, while maintain the cohesion in sound that will make you realise that yes, you still are listening to the same IRON SPELL throughout the whole album.
review
Jawfane - Me And All My Demons
August 1, 2025
What began as a group of friends secretly writing together has evolved into an immersive musical force that defies easy categorization. Though rooted in metal-core and hardcore sensibilities, the band refuses to be pigeonhole into a single genre.
review
Old Machines – The Cycles of Extinctions
August 1, 2025
This is a very talented band, and they turn over every stone, rock, and boulder on the album. Extreme Cosmic Metal? For sure…I would also add “Epic” in front of that, due to the nature of the songs and the band’s ability to create these soundscapes. Even for as complicated as the album is, it is quite easy for the listener to assimilate.
