The Devil’s Trade
One of the things I appreciate most about the album is a deep darkness and tension that runs through every song. It is held just below the surface and out of view, but it is real. Mostly depressive, but sometimes defiant, the album will hold your interest.
Arise
Omnivide
There is no doubt in my mind; I really like what OMNIVIDE does on “Arise”. This certainly is Death Metal from start to finish, but the way they have been able io incorporate the Progressive Metal inspirations, rhythms, breaks and parts is nothing less than impressive.
Stare Into The Seething Wounds
Extortionist
Musically I can’t fault “Stare Into The Seething Wounds”, as EXTORTIONIST is doing everything right. They go from fast and furious to slow, deliberate and emotional within seconds.
Fate Weaver
Typhus
If I had to write a conclusion in a few short words , it would be that “Fate Weaver” is a solid album that will appeal to a lot of lovers of Heavy, Power and Speed Metal. If TYPHUS works on their writing and is able to improve with time, I feel that they can reach a really big audience.
IDSUNGWÜSSÄ
Abraham
The album crawls from the speakers like a living wound…dark, and filthy. Listening feels less like experiencing music and more like enduring an ordeal…a descent into a pit where pain and madness blur together. It seems chaotic, but it’s a deliberate architecture of horror that transforms suffering into expression. This is not music for comfort or catharsis. It’s music that drags you through filth to remind you what darkness truly feels like, a portrait of anguish painted in noise and decay.
Primordial Reverie
Cepheidae Variable
This was a solid album to listen to. Without vocals, the artist has to work harder to convey his feelings and emotions in his music, and Ryan did that well. Many of the melodies you can hum or sing along with, and that’s a testament to the instrumental album.
A Liminal Step
Feather Mountain
This was an excellent album, with a varied approach to each song. The band are consummate musicians, and they hit every nuance and nook and cranny in the music with impeccable timing, The music sometimes took unexpected turns at times, but always kept me engaged. I can’t help think more about how they described the album…”a magical antidote in a world full of chaos,” because that’s how the sound came across for me.
Dusketha
Goad
“Dusketha” is a double album with over 116 minutes of music. It is Progressive Rock/Pop, and definitely not Metal, so if you’re expecting Heavy and/or distorted guitars, pounding rhythms and intricate structures and songs, you’re not going to get it.
The Quest For The Sacred Melody
Armoured Knight
“The Quest For The Sacred Melody” has speed and momentum, as the songs are rather good. Yes, this has all been done before, but somehow the musicality of the tunes does give you that edge that makes you listen just that little sharper, that piques your interest whereas others just don’t.
Night Danger
Revenge
REVENGE is a Heavy Metal band in the old fashioned sense, but they are able to spice up their sound by adding as many Speed Metal parts and rhythms as possible. It gives the music on “Night Danger” a lively and inspiring sound.
Sterveling
Sterveling
The tension on this album is through the roof, and they throw all Black Metal convention out of the window to build something different in the genre. It’s bold, daring, and cold, as any lightless journey should be.
Torment Beyond Comprehension
Pandemic Outbreak
There can be no bones about that what PANDEMIC OUTBREAK has produced on “Torment Beyond Comprehension” is above reproach. If you don’t get what I’m saying, simply put I can say that this is bloody good indeed!
Remnants Of Horror: The Final Cut
Percussor
PERCUSSOR plays fast most of the time. And that all sounds fine.
La tríada dels idiotes
Burghâsh
First, a note that it takes a lot for an artist to get his music released by a label, and as a reviewer and a consumer, I appreciate that. That said, these three songs were very poorly produced (perhaps at his request?) and there is not much I can champion about the music.
Morbid Odyssey
Sadistic Force
The name of the band, SADISTIC FORCE, has been chosen wisely, as this is one of the finest forms of torture that you will ever come across within the Metal genres. “Morbid Odyssey” is an amalgamation of five forms of torment that will have you trying to find a way to escape, only to experience the feeling of emptiness when it all ends.
III: Frühling
Wehmut
This album takes the listener on a journey that is sometimes rocky, and other times calm, and mirrors the seasons of your lives. Torture, anguish, and feeling like you want to jump out of your own skin are common, yet through it all, a string of hope remains threaded into the album. It’s moving, cathartic, and satisfying in the end.
IV: The Serpent’s Coil
Sublime Eyes
This album was INTENSE. In the annals of the genre, the band chose to take the more pure road of mostly aggressive Death Metal where the guitar harmonies provide the melody, not clean vocals nor keyboards or the like. This is an uncompromising approach to the genre, by a clearly uncompromising band, ready to tackle new territory.
Winds of Time
Wings of Steel
The term “Let the music do the talking” has never been more apropos than for WINGS OF STEEL and the release of their highly anticipated new album “Winds of Time”, where nostalgic old school metal meets innovative and vibrant new overtones to create a musical euphoria.
Inevitable Death
Evocatus
In the ever-expanding spectrum of Melodeath, this album is more on the traditional side. There are no keyboards, and very little clean vocals. They prefer to keep things cleaner. That said, it was still an excellent listen for me. The guitar work was a highlight for me. It was intricate, harmonic, and the band has an excellent sense of timing.

Bitter Lucid Truth
Valletta
I’m not gonna lie, I wish there was more of this. It’s primal, raw, and fun to listen to all at the same time. When you listen to it, you just get the feeling that they are having a grand old time with recording and performing these songs, and sometimes this feeling gets lost in the music industry today.
Herezjarcha
Profane Elegy
“Herezjarcha” demonstrates a heightened level of songwriting and an impressive agility with shifts from the chaotic to the ordered. With an expanded lineup their trajectory has hit a serious upward inflection.
Remorse of Conscience
Agenbite Misery
An outstanding artifact of Blackened Experimental metal. Highly recommended to that not-so-rare intersection of literature geeks and metalheads.
The Monkey
High on Wheels
This was a fantastic album. It didn’t break any barriers or tread new ground necessarily, but the sound was genuine, honest, and punishing. Insert any euphemism you want…a swift kick to the teeth…a gritty punch in the balls…whatever it was, it will wake you up in the morning.
Merged In Abstract Perdition
Undersave
The sound of “Merged In Abstract Perdition” is technical with progressive elements and plenty of twists and turns in tempo and rhythm, all based on a grim melodic framework
Extinguish All Existence
Enragement
“Extinguish All Existence” is brutal Death Metal at high quality, driven by punishing guitar riffs, blast-beat attacks, and growling vocals coming straight from the abyss
Guld
Orm
This was a fascinating slab of Black Metal in a few different ways. First, it often took unexpected turns, keeping the listener on their toes. Second, it brought a side of melody with it that was somber at times and oddly warm at others. Finally, there were progressive elements afoot, both in the music, and the meter. Who said Black Metal can’t be creative?
Divinum Sanguinem
Ildaruni
I was most impressed by the high level of musicianship the band has, in addition to their strong sense of songwriting. Black Metal doesn’t need to remain in the shadows, with bad production and an overly thickened sound, and ILDARUNI prove this point on “Divinum Sanguinem.”
Crypts of Eternity
Fäust
Considering that this entire album was composed and performed by a single musician, it gives the listener some gravity to consider. The songs were well composed, and the aggression was held in check at times in order to let somber melodies enter. This was a solid release.
The Baroness Sessions
Jason Bieler And The Baron Von Bielski Orchestra
It’s not a stretch to say that The Baroness has one of the best voices in the music industry today. Her voice control and sense of pitch is astonishing, and Jason’s music lays a soft featherbed underneath her so that she is free to express herself…and sing she does. This album is bursting with emotion, substance, and style, and I am so very glad I have the chance to enjoy it.
Dysthymia
Harvested
Dysthymia is a declaration of war from the Canadian underground. This is death metal that bleeds, breathes, and still bites.

For The Souls We Have Lost
Harvest
Overall, this was a solid album to listen to, and the vocalist was the perfect choice, because his bass voice carries much of the sound. It alternates between a crippling depression, and moments of rage, and the melancholy tones are deliciously smoky.
