Pain Therapy
Conspiracy of Blackness
CONSPIRACY OF BLACKNESS is back with a revitalized line-up and a redoubled focus.
Asylum’s Lament
Stuporous
The soft trumpet parts definitely add another layer of darkness to the music, which is already quite desperate. The combination of Doom and Black Metal actually works very well with the music. At times angry and other time dreadfully sad, the albums themes are well reflected in the sound.
Into The Eye Of The Storm
Zhiva
I always look to find the musical expression and nuances throughout the album. The vocals are usually at the forefront and the main attraction as well as focusing on melodies and themes, and ZHIVA did accomplish that.
Spell Of The Crimson Eye
Wolf Prayer
WOLF PRAYER hailing from western Germany, one of the most beautiful regions in the world […]
Sophie Lloyd – Imposter Syndrome
Sophie Lloyd – Imposter Syndrome
I fell in love with Sophie Lloyd and her playing the very first time I saw her YouTube video channel. Her effortless style is mesmerizing and her left hand moves like a spider on the fretboard with finger numbing sparks shooting off.
Firestar
Iron Savior
“Firestar” lacked bite, lacked nastiness, lacked muscle. While they delivered an enjoyable listening album, just not what I expected from a band with their metal history releasing high quality power/speed metal for over 27 years.
To The Gods We Swear
Rozario
Heavy duty, rocking riffs….check, solid tight backing rhythm section….check, steamy, brazen guitar licks….check, powerful, passionate vocals….check, absorbing, engaging lyrics….check, well I guess they check all the boxes on a true, headbanging heavy metal experience, a well-oiled musical machine. There is absolutely nothing here not to love.
Into Hell Fire We Burn
W.E.B.
If “Into Hell Fire We Burn” is a teaser for a new full-length album, then symphonic Black Metal fans have something to look forward to
Human Deeds
Raining Nails
"Human Deeds" is a dynamic and energetic melodic Metal album with traditional Heavy Metal inspirations and a few Hardrock twists
Gods Who Decree
Graven Image
This was a fairly rough and unpolished album that doesn’t venture very far from the open E chord. As a result, the music falls very flat. Sure, it’s Metal, but it isn’t very creative or dynamic.
Whirlwind Hymns
Falling Giants
Three of the founding members of Italian band FALLING GIANTS came together in the middle […]
The Serpent's Cycle
Hyperia
HYPERIA are a five piece melodic thrash/death metal band from Canada, as they came together […]
A Giant Bound to Fall
Eternal Storm
They have the melodic sensibility of INSOMNIUM, and the ardent, unwavering power of AN ABTRACT ILLUSION. Every note, and every refrain is perfectly placed to tantalize the listener with its bewitching charms. The organic force comes from deep within, enveloping the listener to the end of his days.
11 Days
Spectral Lore
As I was listening to it, it began to put a fire under my feet, lifted me up, and carried me to the place where so many people died. The images were almost too much to bear, so I returned to the safety of my home. Apathy is a much easier pill to swallow than action.
Naesekhnaetri
Myaelin
, I can deal with the lack of structure, and the very loose nature of the music, but what struck me as most odd were the vocals. This music is just too eclectic for most music lovers.
Wake Of Ashes
Burning Sun
High energy speed metal from Hungary my friends!
Electric Sounds.

Sungazer
Skulls & Crossbones
From the ashes of Stormwitch, a new band comes up with a new debut album.
Frost
The Moth
Sludge doom metal from Germany. Really? Sludge doom metal?
Miracle Of Death
Vanishing Kids
Dark, gloom, boarding to doom kind of metal from Madison, Wisconsin.
The Chosen Few
20 Watt Tombstone
From Wausau, Wisconsin, comes a heavy hitting duo in the best WHITE STRIPES style.
Drive
The Defiants
Glam rock is back!
Unleashed Fears
Bitter Velvet
From the beautiful Quito, capital of Ecuador, a couple of young lovers decided to go 80’s metal all the way to the bone.
The Dawn of Blackened Death
Impalement
Overall, this was a very strong album steeped in the traditions of both genres, but with a modern sound as well. The band plays very confidently, and shoves their sound down your throat with a deep smile.
