ZOLDIER NOIZ, a French band formed in 1999, have just given us an excellent album entitled "Regression process". Indeed a masterpiece I would say, and all the mess starts off with "Grave Crawler" and from then on it is all about Thrash Metal. These three French maniacs managed to incorporate a little bit of VOIVOD, old SEPULTURA, MOTORHEAD and some old Punk style into their music and the outcome is total destruction, I mean, organized chaos well played and with lots of energy.

I quite like the idea of short songs, you do not have to play six minutes songs to prove that you are good, most songs in this album are about three minutes, and it is just total mayhem, Thrash Metal at its best. Most songs have killer solos, amazing drumming at speed of light and very tidy indeed, old school vocals and torturing riffs, it is old school with a fresh sound, as production goes it is very basic and perhaps that is the secret behind this excellent album, no techno bullshit behind it, everything just comes together like magic, only a "Filthy Few" will survive this onslaught and there is no "Random Justice" because "Tomorrow Is Today".

Unspeakable Axe Records have signed an amazing band, where did they find these guys I do not know, all I can say is that, please find some more! Ah don't we love the French? They have given us some amazing bands in the past, bands like: KILLERS, SORTILEGE, NIGHTMARE, ADX, MASSACRA and now ZOLDIER NOIZ, vive la France!
