ZARDENS newest album "Heretic Death Cult" is their third release and it is absolutely fantastic! It begins with "Heretic Death Cults Rebirth (Devoted to Death Pt.1)" which is a brilliant beginning in my opinion. Just pure fucking metal! The second song "Unearthing the Magic (Devoted to Death Pt.2)" is just as strong and is beautiful and in your face at the same time. Warnacht and Flocky really shine on this one! Track three "The Black Candle (Devoted to Death Pt.3)" is superb and one that I say Dimitri and Leo standout on. If this isn't metal as fuck I don't know what is!

At number four we have the song called "Respice Finem (Food for Worms)", which is brutal kick you in the dick Black Metal! It is by far one of the best on this phenomenal album. As soon as it kicked in my first thought was "Oh shit this is what I'm talking about!" and proceeded to listen to it a few times in a row. Track five is "Procession of the Living Dead". Now this is what I call Blackened Death Metal! I will probably be slightly hard of hearing after this one but it is so worth it!

"Orphans of History" is the sixth track and it does not disappoint. I would have to say it is one of the more classically driven songs I have heard so far. It's slower at the beginning but it actually works really well. Towards the end it gets into battle mode and makes you wanna kick somethings ass. Don't need an energy drink with this one playing! "Via Subterranea" has a more black metal feel to it plus some sweet guitar work! It's probably in my top three favorites on "Heretic Death Cult".

Number eight is "Hopeful Path Through Deep Furrows" and all I can really say is GOD DAMN! This has to be one of the most well written songs I have heard in a while! Everything from double kickers to Solos! Vocals are laid down perfectly. Absolutely love this one! The final song "Sanitarium for the Soul" is a fitting end to such a wonderful listen. It kinda reminds me of older "At the Gates". This whole album had me on the edge of my seat. Truly enjoyable and another I will add to my collection! Good work ZARDENS you have gained another fan and I wish you all the best of luck!
