The Line Ends Here
Your Creation

One more Hardcore release falls into my hands for a review. This time it is YOUR CREATION, which I admit is totally unknown as a band to me. The promo CD I hold in my hands doesn't have any info, since the booklet contains only the thanks to notes, not even the line up. Anyway, let's see if these guys are worth the time I will spend to review their album...
YOUR CREATION is a pretty new band since it was formed in late 2004. Despite their short life as a band, these guys have already achieved to tour with bands like AGNOSTIC FRONT, KNUCKLEDUST and DRY KILL LOGIC. They have released two EP's, one in 2005 and one in 2006. This is their debut album, which is released via Casket. Not bad, not at all...
The Line Ends Here is an album that seems to respect the basic Hardcore rules and is characterized by the heavy, low tuned guitars, its groovy riffing and its incredible rhythm section. YOUR CREATION seem to prefer speed than heavy, slow riffs and that's what makes you wonder what the fuck is happening when they play live. Their passion for this music is more than obvious even while listening to this album. The production is nothing special but it is good enough for the music they play and for a debut album. Influenced by bands such as HATEBREED, MADBALL, TERROR, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR and BORN FROM PAIN, YOUR CREATION deliver a brutal Hardcore album that will accompany you for a long time. It may not be a masterpiece or an album that will make a huge impact on the Hardcore scene, but it is definitely an album that every Hardcore fan will want to add to his/her collection.
It is a pretty good debut album and I am really looking forward for this band's next step. I think that with the right promotion, these guys will surely be able to do something great!
