YGODEH were formed in 2009 in Latvia by Piton and the music they play is a mix of everything, Tech Death Metal, Experimental and Progressive, now days they are based in London in the UK.
This new album entitled "Inside The Womb Of Horizonless Dystopia" follows the same path as the previous released called "The Experiment Interrupted" it has good rhythms and it melodic and aggressive at times.
First track is "Callous" begins very mellow and clean with lots of keys and basic riffs, the vocals are not bad and add a bit of more aggression to the songs surely you are nor descending to hell, "Descension" feels more like a song coming from a radio, then the vocals get to the job with harsh vocals, to me most songs are very complex with tones of experiments and very industrial as well. "Fragment 3" a mini symphony nice and softy and then it is all "Morbid" a more evil approach with slow riffs and evil vocals, good drumming overall and great bass lines.
YGODEH is not the kind of band I would blasting in my car's speakers, I am not much into Industrial or experimental stuff really and I don't classify them as Death Metal at all, having said that though their music is not bad and who Am I to say so? The songs are well played and well arranged as well, very technical and complex, it has tones of melodies and lots of things going on along the CD, I think people who enjoy a bit Jazz or Extreme Electro music will definitely enjoy this CD because it has tones of good stuff in it.
As production goes I think it's well produced and has a great song, the art cover is quite interesting also.
