Heaven & Earth
Yes

After plenty of radio hits, millions upon millions of albums sold and now 21 albums, YES have returned with a follow up to their 2011 album. Progressive Rock was born with YES, and although plenty of bands have altered what Progressive Rock is, YES have always stayed true to the roots that they created. Frontiers Records, who seem to be the home of all the big 80s bands now, are only again the label releasing this YES album, and im sure they're more pleased with it than I am.
Let me be the first to welcome to you to world of "Heaven & Earth" which is YES, its old 70s, 80s Classic Rock as we know it. Is this a good or bad thing though? Every song seems to have its place in the YES timeline. If you were more of a "90125" kind of person, then "In A World Of Our Own" will be right down your alley. Not only being one of the more Rock songs on the album it sounds like it came right of the same album as such hits as "Owner Of A Lonely Heart." As for you "Fragile" fans, "Believe Again" and "The Game" will be along the lines for you. Being more Classic Rock and being longer songs like most of "Fragile" was. If you've never listened to YES or its been a long, long time, this may be a good album to start. Its old school, its Classic Rock and Progressive Rock.
Simply an album for any new or old YES fan. If you're looking for something new and groundbreaking from the band then keep hoping for a 22nd album, if you just like Classic Rock and old 70s and 80s Progressive Rock then have fun with this album.
