Wycked Synn - The Vision (Reissue) album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: WYCKED SYNN; signed via High Vol Music, hailing from the United States of America - performing Heavy Metal, on their debut re-release of the album entitled "The Vision". Since formation in 1991; the quintet in question have only 1 album behind them - "The Vision". Originally released via Chavis Records in 2003; High Vol Music are resurrecting WYCKED SYNN with rumours that the quartet are in works at reviving with a new song in development, and a possible record. Distributing a solid slab of hard-hitting Heavy Metal in true 80s fashion, the quartet provide an epic opus of intricately designed instrumentation and musicianship. 11 constructive tracks ranging at around 50:12, incorporating conceptual elements and a barbarically savage tone. Opening with the atmospheric introduction - "Into The Darkness", "Tell The Tale" formulates the real opening - dealing with bone-crunching metallic rhythms with an abundance of Progressive & Traditional Heavy Metal elements, in-your-face compositions flourish with enlightening attributions that excel with genuine greatness.

The most notable aspect is the vocals from frontman Gary Grant, compiling all-in-all proficient singing adroitness that stems from high-pitched complexity and captivating elegance. Songs like "The Vision" really shows off his grandiose in vocalisation at an all-time high, similar characteristics grace us with a female duet (whose information is unknown) in "Let It Rain" - her performance is stunning and approached with divinity and finesse, nice synthetic distinctions make for a stunning experience, she is also found in most other songs. Not to mention Ken Orth on guitars who performs with dextrous precision. His solos are filled with efficiently fulfilling contrasts of mind-blowing prominence, swerving elements and thunderous implementations has me in absolute awe. "If You Said Goodbye" is another groovy ballad that has more unprecedented salubriousness, as the substance builds up with an organic aesthetic in perception.

Powerhouse drummer Keith Miller & bassist Jerre La Mar also contribute to the sound production with delightful results, "Evil Ways" showcases their consistently driven sufficiency as they pummel their weapons with unparalleled ability. Frolic solos and more marvellous singing shroud this record, "K.M.A." rocks with exquisite speediness - more harmonic, head-banging true Heavy Metal and uniquely powerful arrangements scream as the production reminds me of late 80s JUDAS PRIEST with the "Ram It Down" era, a nice touch. "Till The End" has a similar coherency, more ear-piercing riffs and song writing in which composes as original and memorable. "In My Mind" begins with a crushing drum beat, technicality in the licks and fiercely deadly screams of steel. Each member perform with a majestic formulaic, making "The Vision" an utmost joyous experience. Concluding with "Unchosen Path" & "The Saviour", which provide more stimulating stability... Overall - I jammed to a dynamic record that illuminates with artistic succulents, certainly a record to check out.
