We now come to the third of the three WIZARD reissues that I have had the pleasure of reviewing, and as so, without delay, here is WIZARD with "Magic Circle"!
So let's start off with "Enter The Magic Circle". From the very start, we are welcomed by the gentle and beautiful sounds of horns and chimes to which lead the intro to this track. As these sounds build, we find that a louder percussion starts to build as the sounds level higher, creating a majesty of sounds to which delight the ear.
So we now come to the track's first track entitled "Fire and Blood". As the intro finishes, we are welcomed by a storm of fast and ferocious guitar tones, which build the opening to this track brilliantly, as within this track there is this incredible mixture of tones, which blend together to form what are the track's bones. What makes the flesh of course, is the vocal styling of singer Sven D'Anna; through his voice there is this incredible lead which just pierces through perfectly and to me defines this track in it's purest form, though if anything the drums are also making this track stand out hard as there is something here which can be seen as the timing and the speed are so even that it creates this solid formation which comes through one man and that man is of course Snoppi Denn, truly this man has an incredible talent when it comes to speed and structure when creating drums for this song as they go on hard and fast as they should and do just that in every way.
The next track to come up is the record's third title "Call of the Wild". With this track the intro starts off head first in a classic and melodic beat that really does grab you by the coat tales and brings you all in, from what I hear I can see many different things which comes together and create these colors of sound and structure which really capture your imagination, in any case this track is a chant to the creatures hiding deep inside the world and with this chant it is made clear how it will be done when reaching these beasts, what makes this song strong is it is a natural and very classic kind of song as it does what it can to capture both mind and soul as it is a battle cry which takes hold and takes you full on to where others may not tread and that is the true power of this song in every way.
To conclude. Unlike the previous two records I have done by this band this one holds something different which holds ideas and even imagination to where the person is truly taken to a land where there is no limits, that can also be said for the sound of this record as it holds strong and shows that it is a solid piece of Metal.<
